Worth the try. I hope it holds up, and I will update if I experience anything regarding that. I bought two, one for myself and one for my husband. We are heavy folks, and this is rated to 330 lbs (some color options are rated to 400 lbs). This in not person weight only, but it also takes in force of sitting down, as well as gear in the bag and on person. I like the variety of colors, the generous shoulder straps, the fairly comfortable bench seat (really quite nice for something that is part of a bag), the reflective strip, the spacious cooler, the zip pocket, water bottle holder, and the fact that the frame is nonobtrusive. It does not feel awkward at all to walk with this on as a backpack. Take note of the legs. Had this been a four-corner leg frame (like a chair), then the weight would likely push them into the ground. Instead, these are rounded and in one full piece, so the weight is distributed more evenly. Feel light, not at all heavy. Good detail. Funny thing, we actually have four of these. As mentioned, I bought one for my husband and myself. At the time, they are $25 each, and I thought that was a good price to take a chance with. And at the same time, my husband bought one for himself and for me. He made a point to add on some paracord zipper pulls. All together we have 3 camo packs, and one army green. He had already used his several times for hunting with no complaints. Not really sure if he used it as a bag or cooler, but he definitely used it as a stool. I haven't used mine yet other than to try it on. I will be keeping it in my car. I tend to go for hikes, and I like the option of having a bag-stool-cooler combo. Also, I like to have extra stuff in my car for emergencies and such. Also works nice for impromptu outdoor gatherings at friends houses. Got myself a seat no matter where I go. I'm a 2 is 1, 1 is none sort of thinker, so I plan to hold onto my 2nd one incase one breaks down or I simply want to use something other than camo (I have a camo one and a green one for myself). ... show more

I used this for a Gus Macker game for my son. If ykyk! I already had such stuff so it was nice to have something to throw on my back that I could put snacks and then use it for a seat! The portability is great! How ever I would not use it for a cooler. The material is light weight and not much of a “cooling” bag. The sturdiness worked well to hold my 145lb bottom! I just bought 2 more of these as gifts. Yellow is a wee muted. Photos are acurate. You will need to have additional straps because, as other reviewers stated, when full, legs want to open up when you’re walking or the whole thing slides down. For my first festival and did a quick fix and brought easily seen pipe cleaners and they worked great. Last photoS are my new solutions next concert festival. Other than that this sit/ sack is phenomenal. I weigh 200 pounds I’m 58. And I had people sit on my lap. I’m going to be buying an additional one for my husband. Purchased for the ease of carrying a seat/backpack. Seat unfolded & semi-comfortable. Better than sitting on the ground. Enough zippered compartments to hold cell, water bottle, cooler area for purse. Easy to carry around the golf course. Great price, fast shipping & well packed .

I kinda figured going into this that the cooler wouldn't be the greatest (long-lasting). The chair is great and sturdy though. Used this yesterday when I went fishing and the only con I experienced was the cooler leaking on me. But at the end of the trip my pants were soaked from whenever I carried it as a backpack. The pockets are great and felt confidence in holding my phone in the pocket on the back.
