  • Ease of use
Color: Black
I bought these to use on my HD soft tail. Works great. Easy to use. You use an app on your phone. When I traded my bike I just took them off the old bike and put them on the new one. Let’s you know if you have a loss of pressure. I love these things.

  • A Real Eye-Opener for Tire Maintenance
Color: Black
I've been using the FOBO Bike 2 Tire Pressure Monitoring System for a short while, and it's already made a significant impact on how I maintain and perceive my bike's tire health. Initially, I thought my tires were correctly inflated, but the FOBO Bike 2 revealed a surprising fact: each time I disconnected the tire pump, I was losing a bit of pressure. This resulted in my tires being under-inflated by about 2-3 PSI. I hadn't realized the extent of pressure loss, possibly exacerbated by cold temperatures, and how it was affecting my ride quality. The system's ability to provide a graph representation of the temperature and pressure changes as I ride is cool (the kind of stuff I nerd out on... huge gadget fan). The alerts are another feature that stands out for their efficiency. They are loud and almost instantaneous. For instance, when I remove the cap to fill the tire, I receive a 'deflated tire' alert on my phone almost immediately. This level of responsiveness is impressive and provides a sense of security. Setting up the FOBO Bike 2 was easy. The app automatically recognized the devices as soon as I removed the battery cover and installed them on the tire stems. They screw on just like any regular stem cap, which is a testament to the system's user-friendly design. Additionally, the sensors are neither too big nor bulky. They are quite light and blend seamlessly with the bike, barely noticeable unless you're specifically looking for them. This subtlety ensures that they don't detract from the aesthetics of my bike, which is a detail I appreciate. In summary, my experience with the FOBO Bike 2 TPMS has been a real eye-opener. It's helped me understand the nuances of tire pressure and the importance of maintaining the correct PSI for optimal ride quality. The ease of installation, the instant alerts, and the comprehensive monitoring have not only enhanced my biking experience but also instilled a greater sense of confidence in my bike's performance and safety. Highly recommended for any biker who wants to stay on top of their tire health with minimal fuss and maximum efficiency. I ride a Triumph T120 by the way, in case that's relevant to anyone. Cheers and happy riding. ... show more

  • Works fine while the battery lasts

UPDATE 11/15/2020: I was able to reach the manufacturer and have been in talks to get the defective unit warrantied and replaces. Once I get that I will be able to safely update this review to 5 stars. I'll say it does take some time going back and forth, but overall it's worth it to get the part warrantied for free. Initial Review: Soooo, I bought this for my FJR because sadly it didn't come with built-in TPMS. They arrived pretty quickly and paired equally as quickly with the app. It took a while to figure out how to switch the pressure reading from KPA to PSI, but that was pretty much the biggest thing. These things work exceptionally well that I've seen so far. Some people complain about all the different pressures that show up, but they're easy to remove and easy to understand. There's your current tire pressure, which is very large and easy to read. Directly below that, is the temperature adjusted pressure at a baseline of 70 degrees. As the temperature rises and lowers, your pressure rises and lowers along with it. Ideally, you should inflate your tires at 70 degrees F for your recommended pressures, but we know it's impossible to make sure it's 70 degrees as we don't all have temperature-controlled garages and can't control the weather. I've found that number to be mostly correct and helpful. Lastly, the other numbers are at the very bottom of each wheel outside the box. That's the pressure that you set as your recommended pressures. When your pressure gets too high or too low above your set recommendation, the app will warn you. The warnings are loud and I've experienced both too high and too low warnings. Now for the issues that I have found so far. I definitely recommend getting a T valve stem for your bike. That's a tire stem that has two different inflation points. That way you can leave the FOBO on the wheel and inflate or deflate from the other. It's very annoying having to toggle the pump and the FOBO trying to get the pressure just right. Second, I found that my initial battery lasted quite a while, then for some reason, the front wheel just started eating batteries. I would change it today and in three days with the bike just sitting in the garage, the battery would die. Notice in the screenshot the dead battery on the front wheel and the last time it recorded the temperature. That makes this incredibly annoying and useless. I'm reaching out to the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement. Aside from the minor annoyances and the battery dying so quickly on one of them, I would definitely buy these again. ... show more

  • Tire pressure monitoring system
Color: Black
I originally had a Chinese version of TPMS for my motorcycle but the display was completely blanked out at even the mildest sun. Also the disply was very small and almost impossible to read while riding. I am cautious of my motorcycle tires since i drive on many out of the way roads. I was skeptical of the FOBO system since it cost $100 but included only the sensors at the tires. However, installation was very simple and the display of air pressure, battery level, tire temperatures, and many features for warning of tire problems made this system ideal for my motorcycle. I generally have the smartphone in a holder on the handlebars for trip and map guidance. So, having the phone double as a TPMS was an easy decision. The system has been very reliable and I particularly like that I can check the tire conditions before starting the bike. As soon as the smartphone links to the sensors all the information is displayed. Prevents taking off and having to ride a half mile before the information is available as the Chinese system required. Highly recommended. ... show more
