These after market covers make wonder why Sony didn’t design the console like this from the start. I’m not an engineer, but air access directly over the fans make sense to me. Maybe they were worried about dust accumulation? I’d rather have to clean my console once in awhile than have it overheat. Anyway, the covers fit perfectly and we’re easy to install. The media could not be loaded. I really Like how sleek this is! I’m honestly not a fan with how Sony made the ps5 an odd shape and made it bulky. HOWEVER I’m glad everything is customizable like pc build in some way. One thing I’ll mention to any buy that gets the one I ordered. Do yourself a favor and order those filters to protect your fan. The design is super sleek and the vents seem to be big enough to allow a sufficient amount of air flow, which was the main reason I purchased this. I like the minimal design, as it allows me space to customize in the future, if I choose to do so. I cannot stress enough how easy the plates were to install! The material doesn’t seem flimsy at all and so far, manages to keep finger prints to a minimum. I highly recommend this brand/product if you’re looking to prolong the life of your PS5. ... show more

So I wasn't liking the look of the ps5 white panel's and also felt it needed better airflow too the fan. So I choose these foamy lizard brand panel's with the 3 octagon shape airflow cutouts and was amazed at how well they are helping keep my ps5 cooler. And they also make it look much better imo also with a more sleek look.
