I want to get the most life out of my xbox that I can. I decided to give this a try and I'm glad I did. I will say it has a couple downfalls though. It limits you to only be able to have your xbox stand up vertically. Also there is no way to turn the fan completely to off without it leaving on some of the led lighting for the fan settings. Now that that's out of the way, this is a great addition for any gamer with an xbox. I like the fact that you can turn the lights for the webbed section off. It looks cool lit up, but it's kind of a distraction and it's just not for me. You have 3 different fan strength settings, or an auto mode that uses an internal temperature sensor that turns the fan off and on only when needed. Auto mode is what I keep it on. Some complain about how loud the fan is, however it's not that big of a deal and I'd rather hear it working. This is going to be great for the upcoming winter months when it's too cold to go outside and do anything. My xbox works overtime in the winter when it's on all day, now I know it'll keep cool while doing so. ... show more

The fan doesn't add too much extra noise to the Xbox, but I'm pretty sure it is helping, since I don't hear the whine from the internal fan(which is super loud)anymore, meaning my Xbox isn't getting as hot. The led light patterns are pretty similar to each other, except for one, but honestly, I usually don't even turn that on. Auto mode is great, but I do wish the light had a timer/dimmer when not in use. My only real issue with this is that the Xbox has to be vertical to use this product. It's a fan, so it's going to fan away heat, but...this thing is really loud. It may get the job done. But, that fan noise is really loud. Especially when at a higher fan speed. I definitely don't like the lights part. So, I won't be utilizing that aspect of it. I turned them off. I don't think I will be using this fan for too long. It's that loud. ... show more

I recommend this UFO Cooling Fan for Xbox Series X with 11 RGB Lights. The Powerful 3 Speed Variable Fan with Automatic Mode draws the Heat away from the gaming Console and increases the life span of my Sons' Xbox Series X Console. The UFO Fan Fits into the top grid of the Xbox perfectly and the Automatic Mode sets the Fan to the needed setting and when cooling is complete it stops. You also have the ability to Manually set the Fan to Low, Medium or High as you like it. I personally do not need the RGB Lights show but my Son enjoys it while he is playing the Xbox games. I know that the processor has a huge cooling fins around it and I noticed that the Xbox dissipated a great deal of heat because of the nearly continuous play with little downtime. So this UFO Cooling Fan is the answer to that issue. We noticed the Xbox runs much cooler with the UFO Cooling Fan in place and operating. The media could not be loaded. I recently added the UFO Cooling Fan for my Xbox Series X, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Not only does it keep my console cool during long gaming sessions, but the 11 RGB lights give it a cool, futuristic vibe that looks amazing with my setup. The lights are subtle but add a great visual touch without being overpowering. The fan speed adjusts automatically based on the console’s temperature, which is super convenient. I don’t have to worry about manually adjusting it—it just kicks in as needed, ensuring the Xbox runs smoothly even during intense gaming marathons. The three speed settings provide plenty of cooling power while staying whisper-quiet, so it doesn’t distract from gameplay or movie-watching. The fan when running on high-speed is a bit loud though. So far, no issues. It easily went onto my xBox series X, I switched it to AUTO, changed the color array to see every color, and it goes on and off periodically while I'm gaming. Love the light effects, speed levels. Had no issues with the cord being too short--after installation on the console, it fit perfectly into a USB port. So far, so good--looks great and works. The cooling fan was sent in an envelope, allowing the box to be smashed. Fortunately, this did not affect the unit. Hopefully, whomever is packing and sending electronics realizes soft packing for a somewhat soft box isn't the greatest idea. ... show more

The posts on this slide right into the original fan grill. It fits well and the USB can plug right into the back of the XBox or a standalone power source. Overall it feels like it keeps my xbox cooler. Where I have it placed I have it on it's side, not standing up vertically, and this still seats well and you can feel the warm out getting pulled from it. I had been thinking about getting one of these for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. I honestly don't care about the lighting up part, but it doesn't hurt to have it.
