It has several lights that stay solid or rotates. The fan has three speeds. The third speed is pretty powerful. It does need a USB port for power. It also has a passthrough to replace the usb port. However, my travel drive did not work if I run it through the fan . Keep that in mind. ... show more

Lately, I could tell my Xbox X was getting warmer. I did everything I could to clean vents and clear airflow around the console, but it wasn’t enough. This UFO fan was the missing piece I needed. It plugs into a USB A port for power. In most cases this would be one of the Xbox ports. I opted to plug it into a USB power supply next to the Xbox. The touch control fan has three manual fan speeds and an automatic mode. The auto mode works based off the detected Xbox temperature. Auto mode works well in most instances but I usually manually switch to high if gaming for a while. I also let it run a few minutes after powering down the Xbox to help clear out the warm air faster. I can tell the fan is helping. The Xbox seems to be running more stable after lengthy gaming and the air output doesn’t feel as warm. The fan does get a little noisy at higher speeds. As far as aesthetics, the RGB lighting looks around the Xbox top. Lighting can also be toggled from the touchpad. ... show more

    • Lights turn on randomly, temp sensor might not work
I like the design and some of the light cycles look cool. I also like the thought put in to have downward facing holes on the corners for more lighting effects. The fan can pull through a lot of air when at max. One thing that's a bit questionable, the light is manual activation only. Why? Wouldn't it make more sense to be automatic either with system turn on or fan activation since the fan is automatic? Another couple problems I've noticed are the lights and fans will randomly turn on by themselves even when the Xbox is off, like the device is going through random resets. I also haven't noticed the fans turning on even while playing a system intensive game for a few hours, so I'm not sure the automatic sensor actually works properly. ... show more
