Our foams are made in the USA! High density foam has a compression rate of 44 lbs. This means for every 44 lbs on a general idea, your foam will compress by 1 inch. High density foam is designed for that firm feeling for those who dont want to sink into their couch. 100% recovery rate, durability : durable, high density foam suitable for long-term use. All foam sheets are sold per sheet not per yard and rolled for packaging. Packing, shipping & cutting foam packages need to be opened immediately once you receive the package. Do not let the foam sit unopened for more than 1 week. Do not open with a box cutter. Use a ball point pen or a pencil. Start by making a little incision and break it from there. Durability : will last 7 to 10 years. Care instructions : when unpacking, allow at least 2 days for the foam to breathe in order to recover its original size and form. I bought the same product from another seller who folded and vacuum-packed it for shipping. THAT was horrible! The foam was permanently damaged at the outset, never recovered. You have to be irresponsible to fully squash a product that is supposed to resist the compression of fat butts for 10 years. I returned that product and for just 5 cents difference in price ordered this product. This is exactly the same thing but properly packaged full-size, rolled in a box. It arrived lightning-fast after I'd lost a full week on the other product and it is PERFECT. It is lustrous, low-odor (just needed a day's airing) and I can feel the compression-resistance I needed. I have loved my sofa for at least four years, but then cushions were getting saggy and I just couldn’t find any sofa Ioved to replace it. Happily, my cushions had zippers, I took them apart, used spray foam glue to attach The new 2 inch layer of foam. It was a bit of a struggle to get them back in to the newly washed covers, but they look great and feel great too! Have older cushions that were losing there supportiveness and ordered 2 and needed two to regain support. However since the cushions were considered firm, I thought cushions would provide more support and be firmer. Couch is far more comfortable than without so that is excellent. I expect "high density" to be more firm than this is, especially when it's mentioned in the listing that it's good for using on sagging sofa cushions. It did not help much, a little, but not nearly as much as I expected. I am keeping it, still looking for something else to use on that sofa. The foam I can use elsewhere so did not see a need to return it. I think they will work fine on my RV narrow twin beds for just a little extra softness as mattress toppers. ... show more
