If you are looking for a first RC transmitter look no further. I cannot believe that so many features are packed into this transmitter for such a low price. 10 Channels and lots of customization. Also, it ships with 4 switches, 3 are 2-position and one is 3-position, however, you can upgrade any/all of those switches to 3-position and they immediately work - the PCB comes pre-wired for 3 position switches. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s gonna be a while before I can use all the functions on this radio. Built a 4 foot tugboat with big plans. It obviously goes forward and backwards and write in the left, when I’m done with it, it will have full lighting, navigation and floodlights. it will also have a smoke generator, sound module, working 10 pound winch on the back of it, working fold over recovery forks on the front of it for lifting boats out of the water. So as a 10 channel radio, I should be able to control all the different functions of the boat right here. Price point is fantastic, so far have zero issues with the radio. This is a great RC radio and receiver. Not sure why most will spend 5 times more money on a more complex radio. This one does the job perfectly fine. The model I bought FS-i6x came with a 10 channel receiver. I usually only need 6 but this allows adding extra features for later on if needed. Receivers are inexpensive and easy to find and bind to radio. Right now I have 6 receivers for all the planes I have. Very simple interface to switch planes. The only thing I can complain about is the physical size. I would like to see a slightly larger shell. But this is a very minor point that does not alter my rating. ... show more

Not sure why there were many negative reviews about this item. But it worked like a charm for me. Receiver has 10 channels. After connecting battery, the receiver paired with the transmitter. Make sure your battery is atleast 7V. I initially tried with 3.7v lipo, which did not work, at which point, thought the item was faulty. But later switched with 7.4v lipo, and it worked like a charm. Instructions are not very clear on which channel the transmitter controls map to, but not very difficult to figure it out. Throttle stick is great, accelerates and decelerates nicely. Aileron, Rudder controls work nice too. I would give 5 stars for now. I am still making my plane. I will come back and update my review after flying it. ... show more

So far I am using it with a flight simulator. It's really adaptable to just about anything. I bought it to use with a flying wing I am building. After buying the flying wing kit I realized that I have never flown an rc airplane before so I bought a flight simulator and the FLYSKY FS-i6X works great! Contrary to what a lot of people have said, it works fine with the cable that comes with it with the flight simulator. I was going to buy the cable on Amazon that people said was needed but decided to try the cable that came with the transmitter first and found no problems in using it! ... show more

    • Excellent Remote but Instructions are not for Beginners
TLDR at the bottom of review. I would not advise this product for beginners unless you are willing to study other products or find multiple guides and learn each of the 1,000 functions for RC Transmitters. The instructions are poorly translated and there are very few YouTube video guides on this specific model. I had to watch several video guides and take notes on other models, then translate them to this one, only to realize some of the functions are backwards (as in On/Off, or right to left instead of left to right). I had to experiment for hours before every flying my aircraft to make sure everything was correctly programmed, even resetting the programming and starting from scratch a few times because it was frustrating. This situation might be common for beginners, regardless of the transmitter model, but feel I should still relay my experience to you. If the manufacturer made a *significantly* better instruction manual I would be much more pleased with this product. TLDR: This remote works well, but is hard to figure out.
