I bought this car for my 7-year old nephew and we both love it! He loves the easy controls, the bright lights, the 360 degree action and the cool flips, spins and stunts this car does. It never gets stuck and it even went down a flight of stairs no problem!. This thing is awesome! It is super durable and has survived many crashes into our furniture. Our furniture has also survived, thanks to the car's large rubber tires and its propensity to flip (as designed) when it encounters resistance. The controls on the remote allow you to spin in the car in 2 different directions. To make the car go straight is a bit tricky; you have to operate both controls, similar to an etch-a-sketch. It's also easy to get discombobulated after the car flips over, but hey - this car is really made for stunts, not so much for races. I wanted to give him a chance to play with RC cars without spending a ton of money on a high end car and controller. So I bought this one as it was within my budget. I was very pleased that it exceeded my expectations. It is very easy to get going. The car is really fast and agile, both forward and reverse. The battery life is fantastic, best part is it comes with a spare battery. The only complaint is the controller uses standard AA batteries. And if you forget to turn it off they drain. A rechargeable controller would have been awesome. But other then that this was a great buy and my son loves it. The lights are awesome, looks very funky in the night. I definitely recommend this car as a good starter RC car for a child before you spend hundreds of dollars on the big ones. you wont be disappointed. ... show more

I wish I would’ve bought two of these. I was surprised to find everything was included in the box including a small screwdriver. This thing is especially fun at night with the lights. I think purchasing a second one is a good idea because once I started playing with it my brother also wanted to play with it.
