This kite comes packed in a decent storage bag that when disassembled easily holds the kite, braces, control line with handle, and instructions. It's relatively easy to put together assuming you have some common sense and it's fairly easy to get up into the sky if you have some decent wind. I had it out of the bag, put together, and flying about 200 ft in the air within about 10 minutes of opening the bag for the first time. I wish that a few items on the kite were made a little bit more ruggedly like the fabric loop on the kite and the metal clasp on the end of the control line, but it's pretty good for an inexpensive kite. I hadn't flown a kite for at least 10 years so it was fun to get this one up and going today. If you've got kids, grandkids, nephews, nieces, or maybe you enjoy flying kites yourself then this is one I'd recommend. ... show more

But a great one. Firstly, this is FAR larger than I was expecting from the description. The coloration is vibrant an beautiful, and putting it together is a synch..The structure is clearly from someone who knows a thing or two about kites and aerodynamics, it’s takes off with a breeze (literally) and sustains flight exceedingly well. The material is like some kind of parachute material. I was surprised by how durable but yet lightweight it is. I’ve had it out on a lake in REAL winds and didn’t sense any tearing or structural instability whatsoever, so that’s a definite plus. I used to fly kites with all my cousins years ago as a child, and if you and the little one in your life has never done so and they’re “digital kids” believe me that won’t matter as soon as they catch air the first time. I got a pack of 2 large kites for my kids, and they have proven to be a source of great outdoor fun, especially at the beach. When the winds are strong and breezy, these kites take off effortlessly and soar high in the sky, providing a captivating spectacle. However, I did encounter a minor challenge during days with less wind. In such situations, I had to put in a bit more effort by running to generate the necessary airflow for the kites to take off successfully. It's a small trade-off for the joy they bring on windy days. One aspect that left me a bit disappointed was the spool handle. After just a few uses, it unfortunately broke, leading to a tangle of cords. While this was a setback, it didn't dampen the overall enjoyment I experienced with the kites. I’ve gotten kites in the past that tear easily, but these seem to be holding up well. My sons sometimes struggle with kites, but seem to be doing better with these, probably due to the higher quality.

These are good kites that my 4 year old up to my 11 year old love to play with. The kids assembled the kites themselves and the colors are fun. Even without much wind they can run around the yard flying their kite behind them and have fun. This is a good buy for the money, and I would definitely recommend these kites. ... show more

These are definitely easier to fly than the average kite I put together as a kid. Assembly is quick and easy, and they do a wonderful job at catching wind. If you're in an area without steady wind, be prepared to run, but once there's a constant breeze they do a good job of staying up there. We'd bought a single kite previously that worked well but between our other kid and the neighbor, we decided there'd be a lot less "my turn" being shouted if we just went ahead and made sure everyone had their own.
