  • Pretty good, but a couple things holding it back
Color: Vader 2 Wireless Version (Black)
Okay, I like to lead with the positives: GREAT battery life, and fast charging. Very good hand-feel. Love the underside buttons. Like the customizability of the software. The wireless dongle was pretty low profile (though, going by a review I saw on YT, it used to be even smaller, which I would have liked even more). Things that bothered me: The build of the triggers seemed a little cheap (the sound when activating them worried me a little). I wasn't keen on the keeled design of them (ridge in the middle), either. Also, the "housing" around the trigger was pretty high. If you're pressing then with your index fingers "flat" (and the trigger resting in the lower joint in the finger), you're going to be constantly hitting them. The other thing that stood out to me (though, I will preface by saying I don't think I noticed this IN PRACTICE with my casual level of gaming, only in controller testing software - but this could matter to whose who play more competitively), the analog sticks didn't have great circularity out of the box, and it decreased more in just about a half year of use. Also, out of the box, it was necessary to add a little deadzone (5-10%) to the bottom of both sticks because they tended to float a lot. (Which made this worse, is when using the software to change OTHER aspects, it always seemed to reset these deadzones on it's own, so I'd always have to set them again). They also only snap back to 0,0 about 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. Overall, it's definitely not a bad controller if some of the finer points don't bother you much. It would be better if it was a bit cheaper (/ I'm not sure if the extra battery life, 2 extra face buttons (many have underside buttons now), and gyro are worth the $20ish more than similar controllers). ... show more

  • Genuinely impressed
Color: Vader 2 Wireless Version (Black)
Not gonna lie, after my Xbox elite controller V1 died entirely, I was pretty upset to have to put >200€ in a controller just to have back paddles (I cannot play anymore without at least one back button that I use for sprinting/rolling, especially in Fromsoftware games, to keep my thumb free for the camera). So I looked up other options than a Scuf or a Elite V2 controller and found a page referencing the Flydigi Vader controller as a good controller. I was a bit skeptical at first, a controller with 4 back buttons, two extra buttons on the front and CAPABLE OF DOING MACROS (as far as i know, Elite and Scuf controller are completely incapable of doing so), it seemed to good to be true. But oh boy does it deliver. It feels surprisingly good in my hands, like, good quality material. It's super light and I would have prefered it being heavy, I'm used to the weight of the Elite and quite liked it actually but well, it's personal preference. I haven't yet tried macro, just played with it for an hour or so in Elden Ring but I'm so pleased with it I felt the need to give a review asap. Everything so far works just perfect. I am never going back to those disgustingly expensive controllers ever again, this one does literally more for less. Only regret is I should have gone for the pro version maybe, it looks super dope in black and gold and I assume it's compatible and I could use it with my Switch (Pro version include gyroscope if I remember correctly). But again, just blown away. I will edit my comment in a few weeks/month to see if it holds on. Game on! Edit1: The back buttons are a bit too tiny for my liking, nothing I couldn't fix gluing a small 3D printed plate (see pictures) Also I had some issues when trying to reprogram the buttons with the software. If you don't click "Apply changes" multiple times and the app goes back to the first screen 'PC mode / Switch mode', it seems the controller stays in configuration/edit mode and it makes it barely usable ... show more

  • BEST controller I've owned to date!
Color: Vader 2 Wireless Version (Grey)
Was skeptical at first, but watched a YT review and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! This has been hands down my best gamepad to date. I've bought plenty of controllers in my day, and with the exception of my official Xbox One controller, all other gamepad analog sticks always had issues with them becoming uncentered, and because of it my gaming performance suffered, ESPECIALLY in shooters and racing games. I have NOT had any issues with this controller. I will note however that if you have a custom self-built PC with too many peripherals, the wireless receiver may experience frequency interference/lag (that was not the case with my laptop where it works PERFECTLY) and the controller will not respond well, but if you connect it directly via USB cable, this thing is flawless. I have not tested the longevity of the battery to its full potential, but I played 5-7 hour sessions for a whole week, an not once di I lose power while gaming, nor did I have connectivity issues. The USB cable is USB-C on one end and the standard USB A connector on the other end, so the battery charges VERY QUICKLY to 100%. The software that you can download for it is VERY useful, and makes configuring your setup GREAT! I definitely 100% recommend this to anyone and EVERYONE...if you're a gamer! ... show more

  • Great controller, longevity and customer service so-so
Color: Vader 2 Wireless Version (Grey)
Great controller overall. Works with rewasd and I can map all the buttons to anything. However like most controllers I've tried the buttons don't last long. This time it was the M1 underside button that failed within 3 months. Longer than an Elite V2 B-button but still way to short. Their customer service was great when I had firmware issues that needed a special program/loader to update it in Chinese. However, when I contacted them about the button issue they simply referred me to amazon c.s. Amazon then referred me to them but then issued me a refund as a courtesy for the sellers poor service. Flydigi claims a 1 yr warranty on their website but doesn't seem interested in honoring it or even talking about it. Thank you to Amazon though for the refund. ... show more

  • Buen producto, falta de compatibilidad
Color: Vader 2 Wireless Version (Grey)
... show more
