I am so glad to find this extension cord replacement plug. They are rotatable. So they won't stick out when plugged into the wall socket. This is very good for tight areas without sufficient clearance to accommodate the conventional plug. Even though the vendor advertises these as polarized plugs. Both the metal plates that go into the socket are identical. And two screws inside the plug are not color-coded. So, technically, these are not polarized plugs. I don't think this is a design bug. This arrangement allows the users to decide which metal plate is for the black wire, and which metal plate is for the white wire. The price is very good for 15 pieces. A value buy. ... show more

Typically, male plug ends and female ends have a color coded connection of some kind, black wire typically going to gold, white wire to silver and if it’s a three prong plug, green goes to the ground. As in the picture, these aren’t color coded so just be mindful of it
