This lamp is very attractive with a box-shaped one-piece seeded glass making up most of the lamp. There is a decorative bracket that goes underneath (as seen in photo) but the glass is held to the main body of the fixture via a threaded stem and a separate nut with a rubber washer. The main fixture attaches to a typical circular ring that you attach to your electrical box. Then two bolts extend down and cap nuts are used to secure the base to the mounting bracket. A nice feature of this light is that the wiring for both lights is separate so that you can - as in my case - have two different switches power the two bulbs. You could just wire them together if there's a single switch, but in my case two apartments can control the light - each with their own bulb. As noted, once you have the base in place, the stem screws in, then you use a nut with a rubber washer to hold the glass, then attach the decorative bracket with a threaded cap to hold it in place. The glass is seeded so you get a nice effect once you put the lights on. This is a very nice product, well made, and comes with everything you need to assemble. Enjoy! ... show more
