Way better than the old fluorescent light that we used to have in our kitchen. 6500k is super bright and can be seen from the space station while 3000k is good at night when it's time to start winding down. Installation was relatively easy. Pro tip: Cut a piece of wire clothes hanger and bend the ends to form a hook at each end as shown in my photo. This will allow you to hang the light from the ceiling while you connect the wires making this a one person install. ... show more

This is an excellent replacement for a florescent ceiling kitchen light that had grown dim. It was easy to put up and fit where the old one was. It's nice and bright. We keep it a few shades dimmer than full brightness as it can be very bright. I like that the brightness and color temupure cabe changed with the remote. It keeps the setting as the light is turned on and off. The only slight annoyance I had with his light is that two AAA batteries were not included with the remote. Not a deal breaker by any means. There are a few plastic tabs that are easy to break off if you aren’t careful with installation. TWIST COUNTERCLOCKWISE to install.
