I washed this straight out of the box and turned it inside out to dry in the dryer. I got a king size to put on a queen bed for extra fluff factor. The color is exactly as expected, I haven't seen any shedding at all, it has ties on every inside corner to help keep the duvet in place, and it is SO cozy. Did not see any evidence of bed bugs at all but you should always wash these things right away anyway. IMPORTANT: This is a duvet cover! If you want it to be fluffy you have to put a duvet inside of it! So many people are not understanding that this isn't a comforter. There are so many low star reviews from people not reading what this is. It would be terrible as just a blanket imo. ... show more

I’ve noticed some feedback mentioning that the material feels thin and isn’t as fluffy as shown in the photos. I just want to clarify that this is a duvet cover, not a comforter. If you don’t own a duvet, I would recommend holding off on this purchase. However, if you do have a duvet—or plan to get one—this cover is a great choice. It is a thin sheet beautifully designed, but the quality is poor, and the fabric is extremely thin and could maybe serve as a bedliner or wall decor. This is certainly not worth $180 as an area rug, however, if it were re-purposed for a frame then maybe. If you are looking for this to add character and comfort to your space, this is not a good choice. If you are a creative mind and can figure out something to do with the design by all means the design is beautiful .
