The bottom and feet are very cheap plastic. One of the corners came broken on mine, but I know that is likely a shipping/processing mishap. If you are looking for sturdiness, I would pass this up, however, for a budget this works great.

This machine is great and it is so easy to use. The price of the machine is affordable and it pays for itself in one use. I purchased it because I went to a store I will not name to get these books binded and they wanted a fortune. What they wanted cost more than the price of the binding machine.     • Not the best but for the price you can't beat it!
So I had purchased this before I read any of the reviews on here, a few days later when my order still haven't arrived I had some time to see what others thought of it, long story short it wasn't great. I was quite concerned because I had a project that needed to be done asap. I was already looking for other binding machine in my price range. Luckily, it worked out for me, I used it on laminated paper. It could only punch two laminted sheets at a time, and you had to clean out the excess paper in the back frequently, it gets the Job done not efficiently but I'm pleased overall. ... show more

Package came with only the machine, no included binding combs like it said was included.

    • Does not cleanly cut through plastic covers
It cuts paper pages OK, sometimes getting jammed with as few as 5 pages. Plastic covers, even if cut one by one, almost always get jammed.
