    • Pretty Good Hose, One Caveat

This is a pretty good hose, with one caveat. It doesn't roll well. Some others had noted that once unrolled, it had a tendency to try to go back to its original hose roll diameter and I confirm this, it will be a bit of a wrestling match. Other than that, though, it's pretty nice. Apparently the earlier models had aluminium end fittings that were easily overtorqued and also noted as having a tendency to separate from the hose crimp. It appears that the manufacturer was reading the reviews, good for them, the hose ends are now brass and fit well. I've only used it once, so those who were commenting about delaminations and exploding hoses, I can't speak to with long-term experience, but I had no issues with it testing on my Nissan Frontier's on-board air system with qwik-disconnects on a 12v hardwired compressor plumbed in to a brass manifold and pressure regulator system I built. Only running 100PSI max so can't speak to the hose's max burst rating, but five stars from me except for the tangling situation, which loses it one star in overall rating. The 50' coiled air hose that came with the air compressor several years ago broke on a cold day. It was hard to get around objects & the length was not what it should have been. This is much better, greater durability and easy to maneuver around corners.

I bough this to replace the original hose that came with my harbor Freight hose reel. After 7 years in a hot Texas garage it has started cracking and leaking. This Flexzilla took its place on the reel and has been working great!

My old air hose was over 10 years old and stiff..this flexilla air hose was definitely a game changer when it came to handling. The softness of the hose was easy to wrap around my air compressor was I was done especially when cold outside.. im sticking with flexilla from now on.

Someone finally got the design of an air hose "right"! I bought one of these Flexilla air hoses a couple of years ago and finally got around to writing a review, and let me tell you - they are a thing of beauty. I have used standard rubber/internal braid hoses, PVC/internal braid hoses, and rubber/internal braid/external jacket hoses in the past, and they have been a TOTAL pain in the... well, you know. They developed "kink" spots and failed at the connectors and/or the kinks. Horrible to coil/uncoil. Get paint, grease, etc. on the external-jacket hose, and it was there "forever" (but still failed at kinks and connectors). Not the Flexzilla!! The Flexzilla hose is the exact opposite of all the bad things I have said about "standard" air hoses, and any future air hose purchases I make are going to be Flexzillas! ... show more

1/4" 25ft hose. Used it with 16ga finish nailer and 18ga brad nailer and was perfect for installing trim, don't like the coil type hose always feel like it's pulling the tool away and don't like the cheap harder plastic air hoses either so this was a perfect fit for me.

This is nice flexible air hose! If you have ever had cheap, stiff air hose...this is the opposite. I use it for painting now with the swivel leader you can buy. Will have to see how the swivel holds up over time and use, but i'm sticking with the air hose for sure
