The FB 3001 Universal CV FlexxBoot can be installed in minutes on most vehicles with a shaft diameter of 24 mm and larger. This specially formulated CV Boot includes two Gomex style clamps and grease. The preventative maintenance aspect of the FB 3001 FlexxBoot keeps the vehicle in its OE State and saves the owner a great deal of money as compared to inferior aftermarket replacement axels. The FB 3001 FlexxBoot can be installed without removing the axel by using the FB 5000 Rapid FlexxGun CV Boot Installer Tool.

Great fit and good value for money. Used the cone slide technique. BIG TIP - Soak the boot in really hot water for 5 minutes THEN slide it on. Took 2 minutes to do this way. Before figuring out the Hot Water I fought with it for 20 minutes and couldn't get it stretched.

It did fit my 2012 Ram 1500. works well, however you should be very patient to install a greased boot. This boot is made of material that you can stretch. I recommend ordering extra clamps just in case; since you can not reuse them if you make a mistake and in my case they do not sell them in the auto parts. ... show more

    • Amazing elasticity!
I used the boot on my 1993 Toyota MR2. It was crazy how much the boot stretched over the CV joint and returned back to size without ripping, tearing or deformity. The manufacturer doesn't list this boot to fit on my car. After measuring my axle, I decided to try it since the dimensions were within spec. I'm glad I did. It installed with no issues and judging by the material used in manufacturing the boot, I can tell it's going to last a long,long time! ... show more

    • not for 2004 F350 CC SRW 4X4, good product though!
Does not fit 2004 F350 Crew Cab long bed 4x4 driveshaft. Yes I cut it down to the smaller clip base, still had to fold it over itself to make it fit the larger part of the rear shaft. Front side is perfect. Will use it for now until I can get the proper one

    • Physical look is not the same from OEM but fits well
I went to several garage and they said it won't fit because the physical look is not the same from OEM. But I insisted to measure both sides diameter, it end up they have the same size and fits well to my GMC Acadia 2012. Not sure how long will last until proven after few months or years. However, after using 2 months only it got a small tear and started getting grease leak. It seems the rubber quality is not good. I suggest you invest on OEM product to save time and money. ... show more

    • Stretchy, but a tight fit
They are very stretchy, but a bit of a tight fit made them a chore to slip on. It is done now, so as long as they hold up I will be happy.

    • Fits Front of Tesla Model S
It was a near perfect fit for the large Tesla CV Axles. The material felt a little flimsy compared to the boot on the aftermarket shaft I bought and the boot is a little long, but fine for a generic replacement.
