My hair turned out to be much easier to style thanks to the nano-titanium plates on the flat iron. They moved through my hair without producing any friction or breakage, and they dispersed the heat in an equal manner without doing any harm. The design of the floating plate allowed for greater hair contact, which guaranteed a smooth and tangle-free style experience. I have had several flat irons that I have loved but I wanted to try one like my hair stylist uses when she I see her. I tried using my existing flat iron to curl the ends of my hair like my stylist does, but I would end up with a kink because it isn't rounded like this one (this is the same one my stylist has). This one is fantastic at not only straightening my hair but curls it great too. The temp range goes from 170 degrees F to 480 degrees F; you can adjust the temp in 10 degree incriments by turning the dial - the temp appears on a lighted, digtal readout on top of the handle. I habe somewhat naturally curly hair & 380 degrees F was high enough to easily style my hair. My husband will tell you that the best feature is the auto-off timer for the times I turn it on, then run out of time to do my hair & leave the house with it still plugged in. ... show more

It is a sturdy iron that heats up incredibly hot so hair straightens in one swipe. The curls are quick and bouncy. No tugging. The iron plate length is long. It’s a bit more bulky than BabyBliss but still very manageable and easy to handle. My hair is shoulder length, extremely wavy/curly when it’s air dried, not coarse but very thick. The heat can be adjusted for different hair types, it has many different temperatures ranging from 170 degrees to 480 degrees. My hair is coarse so I like to use mine around the higher end.
