This bat is the perfect size for pitch coach aged kids and provides a nice visual aid for learning to bat. It provides immediate feedback to the hitter, letting them know if they have swung correctly. We've used it mostly with foam practice balls and it hits them perfectly. I ordered this 29” Flat Half Paddle Baseball & Softball Bat from the NAQQASH Store for my grandson. My son-in-law is constantly practicing catching and hitting the baseball with my grandson. My grandson eat, sleeps and breathes baseball, it is truly the love of his life. We try to foster the things he wants to do and this is one of those things. When my grandson got this bat he worked really hard practicing hitting and I honestly feel like this helped him quite a bit and it also gave him more confidence when he was actually playing in a game and he was up to bat. I got this bat to help my softball swing after reading some things about flat bats. It definitely works as far as giving feedback about your swing being on plane. I was using plastic balls, not sure if it can handle real softballs? The bat is solid and has a nice tapered knob, my only complaint is it’s not completely straight. Paddle bat arrived quickly. Grandson loves it. It was easy to play with. The material is durable and the grip on the bat was good for smaller hands. Maple wood is a plus and looks it too.

I was excited to order the bat an have it for fall season but was completely let down on the durability of the bat. I don’t it’s made out maple like the description says. I used foam balls an the bat started to come apart from the barrel. It looks like it was a return item because they used cheap fill in for bondo. ... show more
