I have not been this satisfied with a purchase - ever. Considering that you can't try the mattress before you purchase it like you would in a brick and mortar store I must say that I was skeptical and never expected to be so thoroughly pleased. I've had this mattress for 20 days and honestly, I have not slept this well in years. I was long overdue for a new mattress but because of the way my 200 year old farmhouse is built, all furniture has to be hoisted up through a loft door in the kitchen ceiling and this requires several men. Not having that option I decided to try a self inflating mattress that I could haul up the narrow, twisting stairwell. The package arrived two days before I expected it and the box was in good shape and it was easy enough to guide up the stairwell despite being 50+ pounds. The box was long and relatively narrow so it slid up the stairs with ease. The instructions were very easy to follow. The inflating process is a two stage operation. I placed the mattress on my existing box spring and was surprised at how easy it was to handle by myself. First you remove the shrink wrap and the mattress begins to expand and then you open a small hole in the second plastic wrap and the final stage begins. From the time I brought this mattress in the house until the time I was ready to put the linens on it was maybe a total of 10 minutes. The auto inflation process was quite impressive. The mattress is quite attractive - so much so that I hated having to cover it with a mattress protector. The first night I slept so well and for the first time in years I did not spend the entire night tossing and turning. I was actually surprised that the bedding was hardly disturbed at all and with my old mattress everything would be pulled apart or on the floor after trying to rest all night. The second night I clearly remember thinking about how comfy the mattress was when I laid down on it to rest for the night. Well, it's been 20 nights and at long last I wake rested and refreshed for the first time in years. I recommend this mattress to anyone who is searching for a good mattress at a reasonable price. The packaging suggests that it may take several hours to a whole day for the mattress to completely inflate to it's full potential but from what I could see it fully inflated almost right away. This mattress can be placed on a platform or box spring. I think it would be described as a firm mattress and that is exactly what I wanted so I am doubly pleased with this wonderful mattress. This is the 3rd mattress I have bought of this brand and it is a really good and comfortable mattress. Great quality and built to last. I saw videos of other people who purchased this mattress, and idk what they were doing on their mattresses or if they got some factory reject one. The first one I bought about 7 years ago and it never got lumpy and didn't lose the support. It is medium support but still super comfortable. Compared to other mattresses in it's price range it's superior. Definitely buy a mattress protector cuz it will get dirty fast if you don't. It's compressed into a smaller box but once it's rolled out it pops out in a thick nice heavy mattress. No smells. ... show more

I bought a16.5" high, no boxspring needed, metal platform frame for this, because I desperately needed storage space!I was skeptical from the start, but the price of both, and great reviews convinced me to try, so ecstatic I did! I swear you'd think this was a much more expensive mattress, much better design & sleep quality than the $800 one I just replaced! The hybrid style allows enough support for my back, while cushioning all my aches & pains at the same time! My constant movement doesn't move anything on the opposite side either! I'm not kidding, and probably wouldn't believe you if you told me a mattress like this existed for this price point! With minimal effort once out of the 4' delivery box, with minimal effort, it unrolled in industrial type shrink wrap. After positioning on the platform, cut corner as instructed, like a life raft inflating, it almost immediately shape-shifted to the awesome size I ordered, and no strange odors, or anything but pure restful bliss, plus....my storage space! Highly recommend! Oh, arrived extremely early, wasn't prepared to open for a few more days, and delivery driver left on the 3 steps leading up to my covered porch..in the rain🙄 however, seller assured me if ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL, they'd take care of me, but was packaged perfectly, no issues! ... show more

I wanted to hold off on writing a review for our new bed until we had it for a bit....we have had it now for 90 days! It has been easy and good since day ONE! It arrived on our doorstep and that was a plus that we didn't have to go out and shop for it. It is VERY heavy and you should have 2 people to lift it. Follow instructions to cut the plastic open and make sure the pattern is UP before cutting. (We also bought a wooden platform that we needed to assemble- so by the time we got the mattress on top to cut open--it was inflating upside down!) We turned on the ceiling fan to allow more air to circulate in the bedroom to assist with the inflation process. We did NOT sit or lay on it for 2 FULL days to allow proper, full inflation as per instructions. GOOD: Sides are strong and supportive, comfort level of mattress is soft/medium (I would prefer it to be firmer, but this was a compromise with my Husband), little to NO movement to disturb your partner when moving around, no odor or issues on day one, excellent price and fast delivery to our front porch. BAD: Foot of the bed is VERY soft---so do not sit to put on your socks, you'll slide off! (ugh--I wish they used the same construction they used on the sides for the foot of the bed!) The comfort level is a soft/medium so if you prefer firmness, you will feel like you "sink" into this mattress. OVERALL REVIEW: We really like this mattress...not love. It is SO affordable that we planned on this being a temporary situation until we can purchase another high end version of foam/pocket spring mattress---but this has been a GEM for the price and Prime delivery.
