Waiting for it to rain so I can hear it in action. Poured a few drops of water on it and it sounds beautiful, like a wind chime. Have a few rust spots in the cracks but doesn't effect sound or take away from appearance. 6" is just the right size. Don't like the 3" ones.

I was instantly drawn to the melodious Zen-like sounds when I used it myself .. the sound and tone reminded me of .. yoga .. relaxing and soothing music .. zen like .. spa like .. not harsh .. the only thing though is that music book that accompanied it, contained tunes that needed more notes on the drum ... show more

I found these for drumming and once they arrived it seems they are lovely little instruments with a booklet to help you play tunes. They label the different chords but not with the actual cord, but a corresponding number that is used in the book to make it easy to instantly play a tune - if you know the tune all the better. My little sister heard it and it reminded her of singing bowl which she uses for meditation so I gave her one of the drums - to her delight! My husband plays his regularly - I hear the sweet tunes gently filling the hallway! ... show more

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas because he makes music and I thought this would be a different sound he could experiment with, he doesn’t get to use it that often though because everyone loves it and we use it all the time, it’s so soothing and fun to use we all love it as a collective.
