I love this trellis, but I just wish it would have came with spikes for the ground on the foots. My ground is hard and it's tough getting it in. I'm unsure how to do this part. Also the instructions are way to small. Thumbnails can be bigger.

Construction is solid, assembly a little tedious but all the holes line up. Width is appropriate for installation over a typical garden gate (36"). For extra stability I wired the frame to the chain link fencing.

I waited too long after ordering this to put it together. I had no instructions. It was easy to put together. It is lightweight, and may not last long, but I can make it work for at least a couple of seasons. I reinforced it with some wire, to keep critters out of my garden.

Needed extra screws...otherwise 5 stars for easy assembly- Two screws were welded together upon arrival and one screw was mis threaded- I was fortunate to be replacing an old trellis to have extra screws that matched-

It's lovely, but the screw heads are too small compared to hole sizes if you must move it, which I did. Either washers should have been included or the screw heads should be larger. I haven't put it back together yet as I need washers now.

I was worried putting this together that it wouldn’t be sturdy enough it’s so light but I used wind stakes with tie downs + regular stakes & voila it stays put! Not all parts fit together perfectly had to bang some of it together, be careful! Easy to bend, or break. Takes a little patience, I recommend putting the top together first then add the legs. Instructions say other way around. Had a couple clematis that got so heavy they made the fence lean hard last year, so installed this mid May, about a month ago. By myself btw & I’m not a big person. Check out the pic, this is what it’s done for my clematis already! It is holding them up just fine, no leaning. Neighbors stopping by to comment & ask where did I get it. It’s nice and tall too, so even tall folks can walk beneath it easily. Fence is 6ft tall for perspective ... show more
