  • Excellent product: Does NOT damage the Switch!
Color: Gray
After spending a few days in bed nursing an injury: this is exactly what I was looking for in a Switch + Pro controller holder. It's solid, is dual hinged (which I didn't even realize it was before purchasing - awesome!), and makes playing the Switch while laying down so much nice of an experience than holding the switch + joycons. Also: I have a completely different experience than the current top comment states. The back supports are made of rubber and do NOT permanently damage the console. Each of the two rubber supports will leave a dual streak when the switch is removed but this is EASILY removed by rubbing it out with a finger. The streaks are Not permanent, and doesn't damage nor scratch the console at all. It's a shame the (current) top comment on this product reflects a complete non-issue. For my money this is exactly what I was looking for, does not damage the Switch, and works like a charm. If you're in the market for a product that allows you to play the switch + pro controller: this is the one to buy. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Amazing Product, but Damages Switch and Pro Controller by Creating Smudges and Scuffs
Color: Gray
As the headline says, this WILL damage your Switch and Pro Controller, but only cosmetically. I have attached photos, one of my Switch, two of a newly-purchased Pro Controller, and the parts of the S1 that cause the damage. More on that later. This device is BRILLIANT. I rarely play in docked mode as it is, but the Fixture S1 has rid me of my various grips and Joy Cons. I often find myself not wanting to play docked and just lay on the couch or bed. This makes it PERFECT for traveling, particularly during long plane rides. Visiting family for the holiday and want a getaway? Bring your Fixture S1. Fixture Gaming has solved a portability problem that Nintendo could have done,m but in a more cost-effective manner. Imagine Nintendo creating something like this. You'd likely pay $50+. And why would Nintendo do this? They are aware of Joy-Con drift and just want you to buy a new pair at $80? $35 for this controller clip mount is a steal! Regarding the damage: the Switch damage is minor, cosmetic, and doesn't bother me. Why? I rarely look at the back of my switch. However, I bought a $70 Pro Controller the day before this review was written and the damage was done after I removed the Fixture S1 for the first time. Why does the damage occur? There's legitimately little wiggle room between it and the controller. It's difficult to push the controller in and difficult to take it off, especially if you're a disabled gamer like myself. You must do so VERY carefully. If there is another iteration, I hope Fixture Gaming will introduce a little separation between the mount and the Pro Controller so they can add some rubberized pads to protect from the areas most prone to damage. Why FOUR STARS? Well, to me, the pros outweigh the cons. The ability to have such efficiency in portability and not worry about Joy-Con drift is amazing. ... show more

  • BEWARE! DAMAGES SWITCH!
Color: Gray
The rubber pads on the device scuffed up the back of my new Switch. The company offered a refund. I am seeking further action. DO NOT BUY.

  • SN30 Pro+ Next Please!
Color: Red/Blue
This is exactly what I've needed! I am someone who I prefers playing docked, but have found myself playing handheld more often during the pandemic. When I play handheld for extended periods of time, my wrists start hurting a lot, so I've been looking for a solution that would alleviate this issue. I've gotten the mumba blade case and the skull n co gripcase in hopes that it would make playing the switch in handheld more comfortable. Although they help, I would still find that the weight of the switch was just too much for my wrists for extended periods of time. The solution that I've found works best for me is using a controller and resting the switch on a hori play stand in tabletop mode. Sometimes this is a hassle to balance if I'm playing on my bed, or if I want to play laying down on my side, so I end up defaulting back to handheld. I saw this product and really liked the concept of it. I liked that it slid into my switch directly, and that it could adjust to multiple angles. Now that I have it, I couldn't be happier with the results! It keeps the angle you set it at, and this way you can easily adjust the center of gravity to fit your position. I'm now able to play on my switch in handheld with no wrist issues at all! Not only that, the full controller is way more comfortable to play in then the small joysticks the switch comes with. I can see myself now preferring to play in handheld with this switch controller grip. It does make me a bit nervous how loudly the grip snaps onto your pro controller, but I haven't noticed any scratches yet. There are no rubber grips to protect your pro controller when you put it on, so buyer beware: it's plastic on plastic. I think I'll be leaving this on my pro controller in order to protect it from damage from clipping it on and off. The only thing that would make this product even better is if they added some kind of rubber footing to protect your pro controller from getting damaged. Otherwise, I have no issues with the product! I hope that the makers considering expanding the line to other controllers as well. If they created a Fixture S1 for the SN30 Pro+ controller, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! I prefer that controller for 2D games that need a good D Pad, and so I end up using it more than my pro controller. I could also see them creating this grip to hold your phone with an SN30 Pro+ controller! It would be nice to have a grip that could angle your phone in multiple ways with ease. If you're having wrist issues or any doubts about getting this product, I highly recommend it! It's ended my search for the perfect handheld setup. That is, until one is made for the SN30 Pro+ as well. ... show more
