I used this to scrub light dirt and brake caliper dust from painted rims on a car. The bristles are stiff enough to remove dirt and brake caliper dust but not too stiff to scratch the paint. The tip has a rubber coating and there is a rubber guard just before the handle so it will not scratch the paint (very smart). It is well made (seems strong) and words perfectly for cleaning my rims. I am sure I could bend it if needed but it works well for what I need so far. I have only used it about 5 times so far and wash my car every one or two weeks, but expect it to last for years.
