  • Just what I needed
Color: Black/Black
I updated my fitness tracker from a Fitbit Versa 2. Prior to that I used a Versa. This incorporates GPS into the functionality for outdoor exercises. I start the exercising tracking, and it shows the pace of movement, as well as mapping on the app. I find that very useful when compared to the older version of GPS trackers that required a calibration. I purchased a set of third party watch faces for data and weather incorporation. The menu system on the phone is quite robust. The data includes steps, calories burned/expended, heart rate, levels of stairs, sleep, etc. There are widgets to toggle important information. Swiping to the left activates the major settings such as brightness, automatic or manual wake function, do not disturb, screen brightness and music volume. It has some apps preinstalled but Spotify and Pandora require premium subscription to function. There is a decent number of apps in the App Store but the function for me is exercise tracking, sleep tracking and time/weather. Screen brightness is more than adequate with standard mode, even in sunlight. Activity tracking does shorten battery life. It is decent at measuring heart rate though I believe it is at times for me, underestimating values. The app is top notch and keeps track of all data. I sync my app to my calorie counter for integrating my health data. To me, it works as intended. I don’t need a smartwatch on my wrist. Battery life is excellent, though with activity tracking the life is about 3 days between charges. Charging time is respectable. The charger is an upgrade which uses a magnetic interface. It is more of a sure fit than prior renditions. The nicest part for me is that I don’t have to remove the watch from the third party protective case. I have only used this brand so I have no comparison with other trackers. I’m very pleased. ... show more

  • Great product, do not bring in ocean
Color: Black/Black
I got my first fitbit versa 3 in 2021 since then I've worn it literally everywhere imaginable even the ocean since it was water proof. In 2024 I wore my fitbit in the ocean for literally at most 5 minutes. I got out, it was working and I put i took it off and put it on my chair to dry. Thats when it broke. I assumed if it's water proof sand cannot get in but i was wrong. I immediately ordered this one again (I heard the 4 isn't as good). I love this fitbit and would recommend in a heart beat, just dont bring it in the ocean/ lake🥲 ... show more

  • Here's why it's worth the money:
Color: Black/Black
I was originally deterred by the cost of the FitBit. "There has to be a cheaper alternative." I tried 3 different generic health trackers, all with decent reviews, seemingly "just as good" as a FitBit. After returning the last one I finally caved and bought the FitBit. Here's why it's better and worth paying $100+ more than a generic. + Real Time Heartrate monitor - (other trackers claim 24/7 Heartrate monitor, but it's not real time, it updates every 1-5 minutes) + Comfort - (no typical metal watch clasp digging into the underside of your wrist, it's all soft smooth silicone, they also put the button on the arm side of the watch so you're not accidentally hitting it when you flex your wrist. The whole thing is pleasant enough to forget I'm wearing it) **UPDATE** I've been wearing this for a couple weeks now and have developed an awful rash all around my wrist. The band is snug and not breathable at a. I believe it just traps moisture and sweat underneath it. I spent $9 and switched to a stretchy nylon breathable band. So far so good. Much easier to get on and off, much more comfortable (soft stretchy cloth.) + Size - (this goes with comfort, but it's the size of a normal watch, despite some of the pictures making it look HUGE. I didn't want a tablet on my wrist and this is just right.) + The app - (the app offers SO MUCH functionality, from food logging, detailed exercise and sleep patterns, tons of customizations, and tons more. It's clearly the most functional app available. Whatever you want to focus on there's a way to set your watch up to do it.) **UPDATE** +I'm adding a plus for the sleep tracking feature too. I never considered how nice this information would be to have, but you just nodnlff with this on and wake up to your entire sleep stats. Those are the main pros that mattered to me. Then when you consider that a nice, stylish, quality watch costs $200 anyway, it really helped justify the spend. After owning this for a short time is clear why FitBit is the leader in fitness trackers/wearables. They do everything right. ... show more

  • Great watch, used it for years
Color: Black/Black
I used this watch for over 3 years and loved it. The app was easy to set up and use, I love the health tracking functionality (sleep, exercise, etc.). The battery life was amazing, I could often go more than a week without charging. Only reason I won’t give five stars is because last week I went for a 20 minute swim and since then the watch has not been working. Constantly turning off/on, not responding to button presses, and not syncing. I have gotten it wet before but never taken it swimming for that long. I would be careful about taking this product into water. ... show more
