I must admit I was a little skeptical at first, having used an attached strap with gromet in the past. I wanted to try these for a long trip and to attach my canoe. They worked well in the front under the hood and in the back under the rear door. Very rough terrain and a long trip across the US and it held nicely, even in high winds.     • Good for securing your load safely
Used to secure a load on the back bumper of class B RV. Placed it inside locking door and used strap ends for tie down. Worked very well but take care not to synch down too strongly as you might damage the door. The load was very secure!

I used to tie-down with just ratchet straps which would inevitably scratch my car. With these loops, no more scratches. If you're putting stuff on top of your car multiple times, this saves a few steps. Seem sturdy enough.

    • Worked great on my Lincoln Town Car!
This was the solution to my problem! I couldn’t tie down the front of my kayak on my 2004 Lincoln Town Car because there are no mount. This solved that problem. I can comfortably go 75 mph on the freeway with my yak on the roof with these babies!! Get em.
