I’ve had this for about a year now. I’ve been reeling in trout and bass with ease. I’ve only been using the rod and reel. So i can’t comment on everything else this kit comes with. I love this because I just go out fishing for fun and it’s easy to stuff in my backpack with everything i need and be hands free to walk wherever I want. Purchased 2 of these for a Hawaii trip, easy to take out of the case and put in my bag. So excited to take out, rig up and throw some shrimp off the shore. As luck would have it snagged a lava rock or reef and barely pulled back which snapped the pole, day 1 of my trip. I read reviews and saw one that said this but most of them did not so took a shot, what a bummer for my trip. Walmart had $30 rig on the island that worked perfectly, sad waste of money (again i purchased 2 of them. The reel and line were fine but the pole itself is a fragile thing.
