I’m a sucker for a good animated kids movie, so I’m hoping my girls will want to watch the new League of Super-Pets movie. I got a couple of the toys just to possibly put the thought into their head when the time is right. This is a very basic tie in toy that honestly feels like it could have been in a kids meal. There’s nothing wrong with this by any means, just not all that engaging. You can push both around on the wheels, launch Krypto and watch him cruise across the floor….and that’s about it. I can see this being good for the 3 year old crowd, and there is nothing wrong with that at all. Just understand that it’s not going to hold much attention from older kids. ... show more

We received similar Batman and Superman themed toys. This Superman version worked more reliably and was easier to load. My 5-yr son could load this Superman dog in its vehicle, but not the other one. Neither vehicle sent the dog very far. It was too much effort to load for the reward of the launch. It reminded me of a toy that comes in a child’s meal but larger and fancier. My 6 year old loves any toy with a shooting feature and this one is no different. She likes to set him up on our coffee table and send him flying onto the floor. I know she will love it even more once the movie comes out!

It's a cute-looking toy, that looks just like the character from the movie. After receiving this, my nephew is now excited about the movie. The one thing is it doesn't quite have a force to its launch. I would only recommend it for 3 maybe 4 years old at most.

We're grandparents with a preschooler who claims to know all about "super pets," even though we haven't shown her any TV commercials and the movie doesn't even debut until mid-summer. Kids have an amazing capacity to pass cultural news like this to others! We already have a couple of other parts of this Fisher-Price set. We've been Fisher-Price parents and now grandparents for many decades and we like the solid quality of these toys. And the key thing to know as you shop around Amazon for the super pets Fisher-Price toys is that each element of this set was designed to have its own special "action." We have the adult dog who "speaks" (says various things with the push of a button). We have the batman figure and bat dog with an "action arm" on batman that will "throw" his bat rope. The main "action" in this case is the propulsion of Krypto from the vehicle, which was a big hit with our 3-year-old. In fact, we also have the bat-dog version of this toy, which also seems to jump out of its vehicle and having both of them on the floor for a session of play made it even more fun. One curious thing about these toys is that Fisher-Price doesn't seem to mind that the dog characters look quite different across the various kinds of toys. There's an adult Krypto that's about half the size of the Krypto puppy. And then neither of those look exactly like this Krypto that jumps from its vehicle. We were surprised that it didn't seem to matter to our 3-year-old. She likes all the toys. So we're happy to give this 5 stars. ... show more
