We have this set up on an ingenuity foldaway bassinet. The volume is either low or loud, there's no in between, it would have been nice to have another middle setting or no sound at all even. The light isn't too bright, it's perfect if the room is dark. The sounds seem like they last forever, especially if you're in the room with baby(just as a heads up. I feel like it does not stop.) the cry detection on ours seems to be a bit sensitive, the TV will set it off, or sometimes just my husband & I talking or the TV in the other room has set it off. ... show more

I am trying to find a mobile that either does not have an auto off or at least has a remote control so I can turn it back on from another room. My baby always wakes up when the mobile auto turns off, so I bought this thinking that the remote control would allow me to quickly turn it back on without me having to get up in the night. Unfortunately this is a remote control that uses IR sensors and therefore only works in the same room as the mobile, which is totally pointless because then why don’t I just push the button myself? Update: Well, it quit working. No amount of battery changes helped. Very upsetting. I love the look of this mobile and it is very secure once attached. I really wanted to love this, but there are two big Cons: the volume control = zero. Loud is the only volume. For it being a mobile I’m very shocked they made this soooo loud. My husband put a sticky note to cover the speaker to be able to muffle the noise. That’s probably my biggest issue. Another disappointment is the light. The little night light was what sold me on this. I wish I would’ve known the light turns off pretty much almost a minute after you turn it on. Then it never turns on (if you have the cry sensor on) by itself. We have to manually press the button. I think the buttons are poorly placed directly above the baby’s head so messing with the mobile while they are asleep is not easy and quiet. I wouldn’t buy again, but I’m not sending it back because my husband threw out the box already. ... show more

Very cute and works perfect. When I tried it day time it looked like very quiet music but when I turned on at night, it was pretty loud. Sometimes I even don't put on 2nd level noise, lowest is enough for my baby to sleep. Also I like that portable lights with music, nice if baby needs help to asleep in different room. I wanted to love this product. I read previous reviews and truly wanted to love it. However, we couldn’t hear the music playing on the mobile we could however hear the motor running to turn it. The cry detection didn’t work and was truly a waste of money. When I went to take it apart to return the thing was nearly impossible to break down however we finally got it taken apart and sent back for a refund. ... show more
