- I purchased my first one two years ago in a tan color. - I just purchased my second in green, which I believe they call Conifer. - What sold me on this First Lite is it is 95% Merino Wool, not a polyester or cotton. - It is a Merino 250 considered a mid-weight. - It is surprisingly warm and comfortable. - I ordered the XXL. I'm 6ft 5in and 190lb, built like a basketball player. The sleeves are long which are good for me, the torso is long which is also good for me. Fits great, soft and comfortable kept me warm during deer season this year. Used it as a mid layer, but will probably switch and use it as a base layer next year and pair with another first lite product as the temps drop. It looks nice enough to wear as a lite warm layer around town as well.

If you can wear different sizes depending on the brand go with your smaller size. Or if you just like a more form fitting shirt go with a size smaller than usual. Other than that it's pretty nice shirt, very warm.

I bought this as a replacement for the first 'Firstlite' wool jersey I bought 10 years ago. I've worn it every winter since. Firstlite sold me on merino wool, almost most of my winter clothing is wool. From the Firstlite wool ball cap to the socks on my feet - wool. IT works ... period.
