I love the tongs and the hook. Nice and strong and seem to be well made. I use the fire hook to slide logs around or pull them forward. The tongs are perfect for grabbing a log and placing it in the fire. When gripping a log, you really feel like you have control of the log. They can hold a pretty good size chunk of wood. I really am impressed with the quality. The first time I had a fire a log on fire rolled out of the fireplace and it was no problem for the large tongs. I’m glad I didn’t have to miniver the log back into the fireplace with a poker and shovel like on the cheaper sets. Good value.
