Really easy to assemble didn't use instructions, but it does come with them for reference. Need to get my chimney swept. So I didn't test them yet. Looks great on my fireplace though.😁

Hate when companies give up quality for packaging box size. The set would have been so much better if they didn't make everything in piece that push together, so that the box is smaller. I fear the rod will separate while using it in the fire, so that is why I dinged the stars.

As you might expect, each tool is two pieces that screws together. This makes them not feel quite as solid as a single piece of wrought iron, but obviously you won't be getting that for this price. The finishing of the iron on the handles could be a little better, as you can feel the seems from the mold. ... show more
