    • Not a volume knob
The bad: That large volume knob in the corner? It's not... despite what other reviewers were saying, it's a BRIGHTNESS control knob, which is really dumb because full brightness is okay, but anything less is too dark. Volume is controlled by holding the FN key and hitting F2, F3, F4. Again dumb because F1 launches a music player...why? I bought this keyboard as a cheep backlit option for my kids with a VOLUME CONTROL which is really dumb to use. Maybe it said all this in the description, but I usually put more stock in reviews than Chinese translated Amazon listings, and several reviews mentioned a volume knob so I assumed they were correct. The caps/num/scroll lock indicators are way too bright, and always blue, so they wash out the backlight nearby. The good: It's backlit, and you can change between several solid colors or some annoying cycling/flashing options if you really want to. The keys are medium loud in volume (I was expecting much quieter for a "membrane" keyboard), not as quiet as my much nicer Razer keyboard, but not annoying loud... but we haven't tested that long.     • Neat But Basic
I got this keyboard as something fun for my work set up. The keys aren't super loud, which I and my office appreciates, but you have to press the volume knob to change the LED colors. This wouldn't be an issue if there was a separate button/dial to then adjust the fade speed or blink speed, but no - you have to push the big knob which is kinda loud and if you miss the setting you want you have to keep pushing it until you come back to it... This is fine for my needs right now but I will probably be replacing it in the next year. Works perfectly well for it's intended use! ... show more

    • Great for the price!
It works great, I've had no problems with functionality. Keys are nice and quiet. The glow is nice and bright without being overly bright. The only bug I've encountered is that the glow stays on even when my computer is off, but it's not bright enough to be a problem.

Much better quality than I expected for the price. Nice mechanical keys and semi programmable lighting. The instructions for controls are not well written but can be learned easily by trial and error.

    • A good keyboard
Have put in about 72 hours into using this keyboard and I can say without a doubt its a good keyboard. The only downside is sound but once you get past that its a perfect keyboard. The volume controls are nice and very useful and they keys feel great. Lighting is very good with its shifting and breathing modes but I wish there were more patterns or something else they could have done with the lights. ... show more

    • ALMOST HAD A GOOD KEYBOARD
This keyboard almost had everything I was looking for. The volume dial/mute was great but the font clarity is absolutely horrible. Does not match the font as pictured at all. Also has some light bleeding from the key lock buttons that will wash out any colors other than blue. FioDio, address the font and put some dividers in the key lock light area to keep the light out and you have yourself one hell of a keyboard at a great price.     • It works, however...
It works, however... the program for changing the colors does not work. The volume adjustment knob was stripped out upon arrival. Some hot glue fixed that, but the lighting is terrible as it continuously cycles through all the colors due to the program not working.

    • no instructions
Instructions are basically this knob changes things. If I push it enough times I get what I want but it takes patience and I couldn't do it again. Tried google it and it doesn't work the way they say it does. Once I get the color and mode I want its fine but getting there is not easy.
