  • it works!!!after two months with it I can easily stretch out my fingers!
Style: Left Hand
this product definitely works.I have used a dyna-pro handsplint off and on since my massive brainstroke during and after rehab therapy, but this splint has made it very easy for me to start streching out my affected hand fingers again after two and a half years but your mmv, I've been able to stretch them every now and then usualy half-asleep since I was first in the hospitol after the first month and plus I'm under 50 years old ,so I'm not the typical stroke patient.I still need more time with it to be better able to use my fingers though. update july 8th 2020 I did'nt mention that I've only used it about 8 times and only about 20-30 minutes at a time and from this minimal use it has really helped me in case people might think you have to use it every night or day to have results!!! I barely used the dynasplint for almost two years but then got serious in december 2019 and my affected hand hand started to strengthen up mainly around my palm but like I said before youre mmv I'm not typical of anything such as my taste in music/tv videogames etc. never have been and I can easily stop eating and lose dozens of pounds even though I'm 6'3'' I once got down to 164bls just by eating one or two meals aday way before that became known as omad or 2mad in mainstream society when I dont want to eat I just wont ... show more

  • Helped my C-PTSD & Chronic Night Mares
I have C-PTSD and suffer from chronic nightmares. While in my sleep I clench my hands into fist and my whole body tenses up leaving me extremely sore, fatigued, and beyond tired every morning. I'm also an artist and I unfortunately came down with some carpel tunnel. I was worried while in my sleep my fist making would make it impossible to heal which was the real reason I made this purchase. However - I will be sleeping with this one for the rest of my life. Its been 15+ years since I've slept peacefully until this horror movie insane asylum looking contraption. I had my doubts because it looks uncomfortable but is the contrary. My hand doesn't sweat in it - its quiet breathable, its easy to slip in and out of without even undoing the straps (I have small hands), and the shape of it is such a comfortable, relaxed position its honestly perfect. I want to gave 4 stars only because I would prefer a black option as well as alllllllll my many other braces are black...but giving 5 stars because I bought a competitors version of this that was made with soft pillowy fabric to compare the two not knowing which i would prefer for sleeping in and hands down within 5 seconds of trying them on I knew this was exactly what I needed. If you're thinking about it just buy it. It's not that much money and honestly has changed my life. ... show more

  • Worked great for CT in conjunction with brace.
Bought mine for tingling on fingers, resulting from dangling while wearing the cushioned night brace. On its own, the wrist part wasn't long enough to properly keep my wrist from bending. So, had to put it inside the night brace to get proper support. Been only two days and the fingers are doing completely better in one hand, and went down to only one attack on the other. So, for the money, I would definitely recommend to give it a try. ... show more

  • Love it
Style: Left Hand
This is the best night brace ever. I have carpel tunnel. When I sleep almost every night my hands go to sleep and it's so painful it wakes me up. I've had other braces which I used only at night and many times my hands would still go to sleep. I ordered this brace because of the glowing reviews and so glad I did. I ordered it for my right hand and then realized I needed another for my left hand. I received that one today. This is not to be used for daytime as it is too bulky and it covers a good portion of the fingers which makes using your hand cumbersome. It is very comfortable as the steel rod also has a soft cushion that feels kind of like "cushy" beads. I have used the first one for about a week and have not experienced any discomfort at all in my hands at night. If you have carpel tunnel or if your hands tend to wake you because they go to sleep and then wake you up, try these. I don't think you'll be disappointed. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Sturdy. Assembled in a hurry. Adhesive velcro not positioned well. Had to turn 2 strips around. I bought to straighten fingers on a paralyzed hand from a stroke. Does work well when my hand will relax enough to strap in but the hard surface causes me sensory overload after an hour or so. Will probably work just fine for people not quite as bad off as I am. I have no controlled movement and moderate nerve pain below the elbow. ... show more

  • Not as Stable
If you were ever in the hospital behind a stroke they make these braces to help your fingers to stay straight this is OK but the adhesive it’s not strong enough I had to switch it out with the one I got from the hospital it’s a better hold for the brace. And it needs 2 holes because the strap needs to be more stable to wear and carry the hand around all day. I like the hand board it’s lighter than the ones that they make for you at the hospital and has breathing holes that’s why I gave it a five for the light weight of the board and the finger are separated. Just a few things to think about before you send more out thanks ... show more

  • Good product, just not a one size fits all situation
Style: Left Hand
The device was shipped and arrived in great condition within the allotted time frame. Unfortunately, I did return it as I have very small hands and this was way too big for me. I needed something to help keep the distal knuckles in my thumb and forefinger in a curved/slightly bent position and that was not possible with the strap placement and device size compared to my hand size. ... show more
