This thing is STURDY! Assembly was fairly straightforward. It took me about 45 min by myself and I was taking my time. I'm fairly strong and had no issues putting it together by myself but if you are not strong or good with lifting awkward shaped things, you may need another person to help you put this desk together. As far as the desk itself, it looks great and feels very solid. I have had no issues with the motor either. It raises and lowers quietly and quickly. I also haven't noticed any sagging or issues with the desk not holding it's position. I tried the video but they zoom through it where you constantly have to pause and rewind to understand the part you are struggling with. I finally got a better video on YouTube that helped. I’ve been looking for a standing desk for a while and have tried going to stores to try out some of them and I just wasn’t impressed and they were too pricey. I found this desk while doing research and watched some of the video reviews to help me make the decision. I was worried, spending so much on a desk, but again, this was lower priced than other desks I had seen in-store. The desk arrived in two packages arrived a large, yet light one for the top and a smaller and heavier package with the frane. Assembly took about an hour and setting up all of my electronics and my cable management system was done very quick and easy because of the shape and cutouts on the desktop. After having used it for two weeks, I can say that for now this is one of the best purchases that I have made. Not only is this desk sturdy, but it is also very comfortable. The height adjustment is exactly where I need it on both its highest and its lowest points, the surface is somewhat textured, and the motor is quiet. I was trying to get a new desk for my studio to replace my old desk. After 2-week aggressive research, I found this one. It seems big, sturdy and versatile enough for both me and my wife because my wife will come to my studio with me when doing her assignments of graduate school. The product comes in 2 packages as expected. One thing I really like is that the seller marks the NUMBER of each piece as the instruction mentioned. So I just follow the assembly instruction step by step. But the desktop is heavier than I expected because of its size. Well, I guess it is not that easy for assembling it by yourself, considering the size and weight of the desktop. During the assembling, I intentionally look and touch those parts and their thickness of steel made me happy. Yes, I don't care about weight so much, but I need a sturdy desk that last-long enough. When it's finished, the whole assembling process is worthy. It's big, sturdy, and smooth-running as I expected. My wife loves the round corner design because my son, the owner of that pink sports car, always walks or drives around at my studio with unpredictable routes. I was first concern that top of desk was missing, Fedex did not bring it to the porch. I was first amazed with the quality of the product. Even the packaging with protection on corners and form protection. Looking at videos help a lot. Initially I desired a rectangular desk but now I thought I could mix two desks. But I desire a smaller but non curved version of the desk. But there is no English Walnut Desktop/Black Frame version 55x28, I might have to settle for matte black. It would also be need connect the controllers. Another thing that would be nice is attach below the desk for additional stuff. I order monitor stand and if I like it, I might get another one.     • Easy to assemble. Damaged surface.

This took me 90 minutes to assemble. I went slowly because when I rush I inevitably mess something up. The only gotcha with assembly was the ‘loosen the screw to expand the crosspiece’ bit. What screw? It took some time, and YouTube before I found that it was actually 6 screws. The very last piece of the base was the bit that hides the cables. We bought the giant size desk, but that piece was obviously for a smaller desk so I had to McGuyver it on. It’s fine, no one will see it. Then, I opened the box with the desktop. There is a quarter size divot in it. The box was fine so it had to have happened at the factory and QA either didn’t happen or didn’t care, this desk was being sold. At this stage I couldn’t box the whole thing back up and return it so I am living with it, covered for eternity by a book or a coffee cup. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy desk. The height is very adjustable. I am 6’ 2” and this desk raises high enough to work as a standing desk for me. I like that it has the ability to set preset heights that the table can move to with a click of a button. The movement is quick compared to another desk I’ve had in the past. I did have some delivery issues that were not the sellers fault, but the seller worked with me and fixed my problem easily. Great customer service. I would recommend this product. ... show more
