We bought this multipack because we know we don't change the filters frequently enough. The pleats do a great job of catching more dirt. They are easy to install, they are light, they fit perfectly, and the price is right.

    • Good option for non-restrictive air flow
While high MERV filters have their benefits, they often are too restrictive for some systems, causing strain on the blower motor and decreased system efficiency. These MERV 5 filters allow much better airflow while still providing a good filtration level. The build quality is good -- better than other brands of MERV 5 filters I've used. The price is very reasonable especially if you can catch it on a price dip. All in all, a good performing filter and a good value for the price. ... show more

    • Works a little too well!
It may be because I have two large dogs or that my AC has been running more than usual due to this hot southern summer, but 3 months is too long of a stretch for these fine filters. The airflow after 3 months of dust was so low that my pipes froze. This never happened with the low cost store brand ones I previously bought. I'm going to set a reminder on my phone to change the filter out every two months and see how that goes. With the amount this filter caught I bet the air is a lot cleaner though!
