Let me preface this review with the fact that I have 4 of my own dogs, board 2-4 additional dogs, as well as live in Arizona in an extremely dusty area. These air filters do the job of trapping dust and allergens without any issues, but don't really stand out in any way. The MERV 11 rating provides decent filtration. Installation into my furnace was easy enough. They seem adequately durable and haven't required frequent changes. However, I didn't notice a major difference in air quality compared to cheaper filters. They're maybe a bit quieter. For the price, they work fine, but I'm not sure I'd purchase again when there are comparable lower cost options. ... show more

I did some research and this filter seemed to have what I cared about. It is not cheap, but it is high quality and you could pay more for less. The wife is sensitive to allergies and pollen and all. We use these filters in addition to a high quality room air cleaner. Hard to tell how much difference it makes but if I take the information and reviews at face value, I believe it's a good thing and will continue to use these. ... show more

We had our AC replaced in mid-July 2023. The filter size we have always used is 20x30x1. In the new air handler these filters caused whistling noises that were so irritating. I am not sure it was 100% their fault, but another brand was considerably less noisy. We have since had an electrostatic powered filter installed and it is wonderful. I really believe in the 3M brand, but these would not have worked for us due to the noise. By the way, the filters fit snuggly in the the frame as they should, so no gaps to create the noise. Please read the other reviews to get a better overall picture of the product. I believe our experience with this filter had more to do with the size than other factors. And most importantly, your air handler may not be in a place that the noise is a problem. ... show more

I am a new/first time home owner (who is a single gal) and let me tell you. I don't know the first thing about air filters so I was a little skeptical to buy them online since I already wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. Let me tell you, if you want to impress someone with your filters (LOL) then these are the way to go. First of all they come very nicely packaged and they are STURDY! I bought my condo almost 2 hrs ago and then it dawned on me that I should prob learn now to do house things like this. It was super easy to install (as I am guessing all air filters are lol) but it the quality/thickness/sturdiness of the material makes you feel like nothing harmful will be able to get through them. I have def noticed an improvement in my and my son's allergy levels. I will be purchasing these again once I go through the rest of the air filters in the pack.
