Everything about this is such a good value for the price. The shock mount performs pretty decently, at least well enough that you can be typing or gaming without much vibration being transferred. Sounds great over xlr, maybe a bit muddy for some people's tastes but I like it a lot. I did a comparison with a few mics in this price range and the XM8500. It sounds like a slightly clearer xm8500 but the am8 sounds a little bit sharper which I personally prefer when I am going to be able to tune an eq every time like pre recording bits. For gaming and streaming though this is definitely on top in my opinion for the price range. XLR is preferred but USB also sounds very good on PC. Have had some complaints on playstation 4 but that just seems to be the nature of the console. ... show more

I've had no issues with it, no disconnecting nothing of those sorts.I got the black color and looks great on my set up. Very easy to set up very easy to use.
