Description

Kits are an upgrade to the stock oiling system, delivering increased oil pressure and return scavenge volumes from an OE+ billet oil pump and matched OE+ billet cam plate (see OE+ oil pumps for complete specs). OE+ billet cam plates have increased rigidity and are machined to tighter tolerances compared to stock. OE+ cam plate pressure relief replacement valve and spring are pre- set, matched and seated by FEULING with a full pop off pressure of 50-60 psi.. The holes for the cams are too close together. Even using a smaller cam drive gear, I could not get any backlash between the cam gears. Feuling was very quick to supply me with a second plate but, unfortunately, it suffered from the same problem. Note that the cams fit perfectly when I installed them in a stock Harley plate, even using the standard diameter drive gears. I understand that the spacing between the cam holes being too narrow is a common problem when using a gear drive cam system in an aftermarket cam support plate but this plate is designed for use with a gear drive and should not have had this problem. With the excellent customer service from Feuling I wish that I could have given a better review. ... show more
