The media could not be loaded. **Edit (4/12/2021). I bought another one of these pumps 2 years later for a counterflow chiller setup. It works fine, but it's nowhere near as quiet as the first pump I bought. I wonder if they changed manufacturers? Just thought it would be nice to know. I’m well acquainted with the traditional March pumps and WOW, this thing is freakin’ QUIET compared to them. Reminds me of the RipTide pump I use for a chiller (though this isn’t nearly as powerful, not as many features, etc). I love that it comes with a stainless steel head. You’ll have to add your own valve(s) & accessories. The idea was to use this pump to recirculate (vorlauf) my mash for the last 10mins, and it worked great doing so! No problems at all (see video).     • Same pump other sell for less
Bought some snazzy pumps from an online homebrew supplier and one kicked the bucket after a year.... Went to search the model number printed on the pump and found this for a much lower price. Sure enough, it's the same pump. Heads are interchangeable, mounting is the same, and performance is exact.

    • Decent brew pump for the money
It does struggle a bit to get primed to pump. No, it's a centrifugal style pump so must be gravity fed, there is no suction to prime it. The flow rate is decent and it handles my 170 degree mash water just fine. I'd recommend to a friend; for the money it's a great pump.

I'm using this pump in my brewery setup. It sits along its twin, the MKII pump. It is very quiet and moves water and wort fairly quick. Does it have the power the chugger or bigger pumps have? Probably not. But for the price, I am super happy with both of them. I will see if it last me a good couple years. ... show more

Used as a secondary pump for small Nano brewery. I was skeptical at first but this little pump has moved over 1000 gallons of 165 degree water for us so far without so much as a hiccup.

Just used this pump for the first time. Used it to recirculate my wort for the last 15 minutes of my boil and then ran it through my plate chiller to cool. What amazed me was the pump couldn't be heard over the boiling kettle. I'll reserve judgement about the durability of this pump. I may give an updated review after a few more brewings. ... show more
