After reading some of the not-so-good reviews, I was anticipating having parts missing, or inadequate assembly instructions. I'm glad I was wrong! The parts came clearly marked, and while the instructions were only about the parts and the way they were to be assembled, my husband and I had no problems putting it together. It took us about an hour and a half. And it is sturdy - some of the negative comments were how shaky it was after being assembled. We are both 72 years old, so the hardest part was getting up and down from the floor (HA!) We used a drill with a hex head drill bit, and everything is tight and very stable. Only complaint is there is a gap about a foot from the head of the bed to the wall. I move a lot in my sleep so pillows fall down in between the mattress and headboard Easy fix if you put something in there to stop the pillows from falling in. Also should add my room set up makes it so being on the wall side, I have to scoot down to the foot of the bed to get out so the mattress does move a little ... show more

I absolutely recommend this bed if you are considering purchasing. It arrived a couple days before expected, which was nice. The bed is exactly as pictured. The fabric is soft to the touch, the headboard feels so nice to sit up and or lean against. It is cushioned nicely. The "shelf" part at the top where you Plug things up at is awesome. You can sit a drink up there ( with a lid ), it is fairly sturdy but I wouldn't recommend that anyway lol. Maybe only for a minute or so but you can easily sit small stuffies and devices up there. I put my seeing glasses and phone up there at night. We had the plugs every day so far and they has been so convenient. I have an 8 yr old so where the black medal bars are at the bottom, that are for support as part of the bedframe, I cut a black Styrofoam pool noodle like thing to size to fit it and wrapped it around the metal bar so that we dont stump our toes against it. It works perfectly. My son and I adore this bed 💓 For the price it is wonderful 💯 ... show more

Bed is a nice quality... We were trying to get it into a tight space... based off the 54" wide for the twin headboard (according to the site) we were worried. Its actually only 42" wide not 54".

My teen had some difficulty due to lack of experience, but once I came to her aid, it went together nicely, and with all the hex head bolts, the bed could be disassembled for transport in the future if necessary. It was def an easy set up, although mine came with a piece that wasn’t put on correctly per manufacture. Luckily it was an easy fix i could do on my own. It’s really pretty and doesn’t wobble at all!
