Description

Bold and brash, the sound of this dreadnought acoustic was designed to inspire from the moment you pick it up. Featuring a painted solid spruce top, painted mahogany back and sides, and matching painted 6-in-line headstock, the Redondo Player has a rich, commanding voice that fills any room. The mahogany neck features a comfortable, slim-taper "C"-shaped profile, inspired by Fender’s electric legacy. The same no-compromise attitude that gives the Redondo Player its uniquely killer vibe extends to every aspect of its construction. It features optimized bracing for superior resonance, a GraphTech NuBone nut and saddle, and a Fishman preamp system that allows you to reproduce the guitar’s natural sound when plugged into an amplifier. Dynamic, distinctive, and versatile—like today’s guitarists—the Redondo Player refuses to be bound by convention.

  • Great value and quality 6 string electric/acoustic
Got a fantastic Amazon sale price on this left handed acoustic. Love the look with the Fender headstock style. Very easy playability and action. It is a bit smaller & slimmer then my Alvarez dreadnought. On board electronics include a tuner which is a real nice to have.

  • Amazing, I love it.
I bought this guitar in January of this year, I believe. I've been playing it nearly every day since I bought it, so it's been about 2 months. I have to say, I absolutely love it. I have never owned an acoustic guitar or a guitar in general, but I absolutely LOVE this one. I paid a pretty penny for it and I have no regrets. Since it's dark colored, I can see some fingerprints on it, but it's nothing a rag can't fix. I'm someone who doesn't like country music and likes lot of Japanese Pop Rock, some indie music, stuff like that. I like more modern things. That being said, that also goes for what color guitars I like and look out for. I don't like the classic guitar look. I don't like the tan, I don't like any orange, I don't like the worn-out look. However, these guitars really caught my eye. I was originally going to buy the silverish one, as I'd had the guitar in my cart for a long time and had decided upon it. But at the very last second as I was about to buy it, the dark guitar caught my eye. So I read reviews and after realizing that this one was probably the better choice, I bought it. So far, I have zero regrets. It sounds amazing, good quality control, showed up at my doorstep in great condition. My only complaint with Fender is that it says on the box exactly what it is. The Fender logo was pasted on it. So if, say, someone wanted to steal it, it would probably be an easy feat. I would just make sure to get it delivered somewhere inconspicuous. Inside your garage or house would be ideal. On Fender's part, they could avoid this hassle altogether by removing their logos from the box. But, all in all, thanks for the guitar! It's very sturdy, and my arm doesn't get tired at all after playing it for about 3 hours every day. I love this guitar. (Side note that I'm adding in at the last second, yes it has a built-in preamp and tuner. Mine came with a battery, at the bottom of the guitar, which was very convenient for tuning. I've never used an acoustic amp, so I can't speak on how it sounds with the preamp, but I can say that the buttons are very high quality, almost velvety.) ... show more

  • Beautiful sound!
This is a great guitar! Bought this for my 15 year old daughter and she LOVES it. She’s very small and this is a great size for her but doesn’t look like a kids sized guitar. Only complaint is the sticker Fender put on the guitar is hard to get off and leaves that sticky residue. Overall, it’s a great bang for your buck! ... show more

  • Solid guitar for the price
Style: Redondo Color: Belmont Blue
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. To me, the sound is clear and bright. Its also balanced and projects very well. Unplugged, it is about as good as anything else in its price range; just maybe lacking a little warmth (compared to something costing twice as much). It really shines, however, with amplification. sounding very good with both picking and finger style playing. The electronics are simple and effective. Playability is also very good. With the included strings, the action is medium/light. The neck is slim and fast; it looks and plays very much like a Strat. I can play some barre chords on it that I cannot on other steel string acoustics. There's a little bit of fret buzz at the bottom of the neck, but I rarely play down there anyway. Craftsmanship is good on mine with no obvious flaws. The front is solid wood, but the sides are laminate (as you would expect at this price point). The painted finish looks unique and stunning to me. In summary, I'd recommend the Rondo player as a solid buy for $400. It's well built, very playable, and clear sounding. It would probably be most appealing to someone who favors a Fender style neck and plays a lot with amplification. ... show more

  • Great guitar
This is a great sounding guitar. I suggest you play it for a couple months and really get to enjoy it. Then, cut those strings off, and put some quality strings on it. Great guitar

  • Great guitar
Style: Redondo Color: Jetty Black
Was sketched out by the shipping and handling due to the fragility but it was all fine. Can definitely tell the difference in sound from a cheap guitar. My mom decided to learn the guitar so I decided to give her the gift and opportunity by paying a little extra for a brand name guitar. She then processed to flex on another mom whose been playing for years on a cheap guitar who realized hers sounded off compared to this baby. Recommend for anyone whose buying their first guitar and wants good quality. ... show more

  • Guitar
I bought this for my granddaughter’s 13 birthday. She sings and plays the guitar with two bands and she loves it.
