  • Is not compatible with Fender Stratocaster guitars.
Style: Fender
I bought this to adjust my truss rod and bridge. The truss rod tool does not even come close to working. There's no way this is a universal tool for Fender guitars and basses. I can adjust the bridge height, but I could have spent $3 at a local hardware store to do that. It was the truss rod tool I needed the most. I bought two of these, one for my bass, the other for guitar. I am returning them both. ... show more

  • Strat Truss Rod adjustment is not practical, bulky.
Style: Fender
Fender Strat truss rod adjustment is not practical. The hex key is short, the tool body rests against the guitar strings. A separate 1/8 hex key is better in my case.

  • Not exactly great for adjusting truss rods, but still a good thing to have
Style: Fender
At first glance, this Fender multi-tool seems to have it all. Allen wrenches in every useful size, flat heads, philips heads, it even has a RULER which is very smart. The only problem is, the bulk of the multi-tool itself makes it impossible to use on most Fender truss rods, especially if you're using string trees. On my telecaster deluxe, I couldn't even get the right angle to get the wrench into the hole, much less turn it. Ah well, I still have a very handy tool, and I can just use my StewMac "Gripper" truss rod wrench for the seasonal cranking. Other than the truss rod issue, the thing is well built, has the useful stuff, etc etc. ... show more

  • Should be called a squire tool
Style: Fender
Feel cheaply made and no regular size flat head??? Is that a joke? 1 star reviews suggest u can’t adjust a fender truss rod with this fender tool. Prob good tool for guitar case. Gonna hope it’s adequate so I don’t have to get out my real tool box every time I need to do something basic on guitars. Disappointing. Gotta wonder if this is a fender product or someone just gives a cut to slap their logo on it! ... show more

  • Great everyday tool
Style: Fender
Great little tool for the price. Helpful tool to carry around with your rig. Can easily set up your guitar, adjust the action, and intonation, but I would get a separate truss rod adjusting tool.

  • Kinda junk
Style: Fender
It is what it looks like, but it is very flimsy. Very easy to brake a piece. I got a Gibson one with my LP and that hand tool set is awesome. Luckily the Gibson one has the saddle tools for the strat because the fender brand one is kinda crap.

  • Small & convenient, does what it's supposed to do.
Style: Fender
Handy gadget to have in your guitar case when the unexpected happens. A bit stiff and not particularly high quality, but it's a convenience - basically an emergency spare. For on-the-spot jobs this little thing can save a lot of time and trouble. For doing real work, of course, one would use real tools. ... show more
