I bought these in dusty blue. Pros: Loose fit, modest length without looking frumpy, construction seems fine, arrived quickly, functional tie waistband with elastic, breathable and cool for a synthetic, flattering, color works with many top colors and style, legs are quite wide if you size up Cons: rayon/modal although the listing advertised them as woven cotton, fast fashion (although I’ll make them last as long as possible and then repurpose them,) wise legs could lead to inadvertent flashing of lady bits, so please wear full coverage nude underwear. Measurements and fit: I’m 5’6 140 lbs, usually a medium 6-8 in trousers, but I ordered up a size. They are a bit shorter than I’d usually choose with a hem about 6.5” above the knee, but the draped style keeps them modest. My legs are slender, but more muscular or thicker legs would look good in these too depending upon the shoes. They are good for casual wear around the house, to the beach or park, and, if you live in a casual area like the Pacific NW, are fine for running errands. I wear mind around the yard for gardening with sneakers and a scoop necked t shirt. Styling: They’s look cute with a pair of flat sandals, white Superga/Keds sneakers, simple flat sandals or booties. White or nude pink peasant or cotton lace blouses, neutral, mint green, mauve, navy, dusty pastels, chalky primary tops, layered chambray or white cotton or silk button up, camp shirt, scoop, boat or V neck t shirt, Breton stripes, or, slightly shaped cropped tops . I’m getting a second pair in sage. Bottom line: stylish and comfy choice for grown women who want to look good in shorts. I wouldn’t wear them in the city, to work, etc. For puttering around the house, errands, and, the beach, though, they add an extra bit of sophistication instead of the typical cut offs, dowdy chino, or, tight Bermuda’s. ... show more

No no no. Walmart quality. Do not recommend. The picture makes these shorts look soft, with a nice hang. Not at all what they are like in person. Too much fabric in the crotch area, and fabric is stiff. Bought three colors, they all fit and felt the same. They’ve all been returned.

I’m small on top—but have full thighs and hips, so shorts generally look horrible on me (and I wear an extra small and top – – but generally need a medium on the bottom). I normally just wear sundresses in the summer – – but I was going on a trip to Costa Rica, where I would need something a bit sportier then sundresses, for hiking and biking around near a beach and a jungle. I was able to wear a small in these shorts without issue—and since the legs were wide with a little flare (almost like an a-line skirt), they didn’t make my thighs look enormous. For context, i’m 5‘6“ and 124 pounds. I bought both the pink and a beige colors— and both were great, although I preferred and ended up wearing the pink the most (I feel like the beige color was a little bit too light – – I would have preferred a khaki). These got wet from time to time, from the ocean and occasional rain, but they dried quickly. They got somewhat wrinkled in my luggage – –but I felt like the style was somewhat forgiving of wrinkles. All in all, I was so glad I had these on my trip. I basically lived in this and two other pairs of shorts. And i’ll wear them this summer too. Great product! ... show more

Ick. The material feels strange...definitely NOT cotton; unsure of the true composition and no tags on the shorts to tell. Hmmm...like disposable clothing, lol, except price point doesn't reflect that!. The white was completely see-through and they are not "flowy" and comfortable like the photo and description suggest. Stiff and unflattering instead. As soon as I took them out of the bag I could tell they would not work. Returned. ... show more
