I have really only ever bought cheaper jersey knit sheets and got tired of patching 2ft long tears in them, so I decided to try a different kind of sheet. After doing some research, I decided some cotton percale sheets might be right for me, but I couldn't spend $200+ on a sheet set. I checked these sheets right out of the package (stuff on Amazon can sometimes have iffy quality control) and everything looked good. No stains or snags or anything. They were already pretty soft before I even washed them. I gave them a wash according to the directions on the tags and put them on my bed. They do of course wrinkle, but I know cotton is like that and I do not care about it personally. They are crisp and comfortable, not rough at all. The fitted bottom sheet keeps pretty cool which is great since I am a hot sleeper. The top sheet does feel a little less breathable and cool than I was expecting based on what I read, but it isn't bad to the point of sweating. The sheets also don't tend to hold on to a lot of pet hair, which is a bonus as I have cats who sleep on my bed. (I tried microfiber sheets once that would hold on to fur so badly.) Overall I am very pleased with them. They are comfortable and even somewhat luxurious compared to the sheets I used to buy, and you cannot beat the price considering the quality. Percale isn't for everyone, but if you like percale weave, I think you will really enjoy these. If they ever make these in a mauve or lavender color, I would love to get more. ... show more

So I bought these originally for my spare room. Loved them so much I started sleeping in there so finally bought this set for the master bed. They are the first sheets I’ve bought that feel cool and unlike the microfiber sheets i wash them less. The microfiber sheets looked and felt dirty after a day or 2, these go weeks before I need to clean. It’s so weird. Also they don’t feel soft to touch like the microfiber however they are more comfortable. Can’t really explain it. ... show more

    • Good old-fashioned percale cotton sheets!
This is the fourth set of Feather & Stitch percale cotton sheets I’ve ordered and I love them. For several years, I tried very hard to like microfiber bed sheets. Nope. I remember the crisp, clean feeling of percale cotton from when I was young. Be aware that cotton sheets do NOT come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. And they are not soft and slippery like microfiber sheets. But they are the best. If you ever slept over at your Grandma’s house when you were young, these are the type of sheets she probably had. Bonus: percale cotton sheets do not wear out; they just get softer over the years. Second bonus: Feather & Stitch puts tags on the sheets identifying the “top”, “bottom” and “side” so you do t waste time trying to figure that out! ... show more

I wanted true 100% cotton sheets that didn't pill and these are them. Soft and cool. And who cares if they wrinkle? They're sheets!! 100% cotton anything is going to wrinkle so iron them if sleeping in wrinkles is that importlant to you. Best sheets I've ever bought.

These are well made. Envelope style pillow case. All around elastic. I have a 13 inch mattress and do not believe they would stay on a mattress much taller. Generous sized flat sheet that you can actually tuck in. They feel cool and crisp- like they just came off the clothesline! :) Yes, they will wrinkle. That's how percale is. Follow cold wash and low dry instructions. Get them back on the bed before they get too wrinkled. And, yes, I did iron the pillow cases. I assume they will get softer with washings in the future. ... show more

    • Just what I wanted --> crispy sheets!
I love the sheets I grew up with. The ones that hang on the line and smell like outside. Those same ones that let your foot find the cool spot under the covers in the summer. I don't want microfiber anything for summer. I want cool, crispy sheets. I don't care if they are winkle free, bc I sleep on them, for Pete's sake, they get wrinkled, and they're under a spread. These are my go-to newest love. I washed them twice and (of course) hung them outside. I'm sure they'd be fine coming from the dryer, but I don't do that. They are a perfectly beautiful blue-green paisley and my best find of the summer. If you like crispy and cool, these are the sheets for you! ... show more

    • After 10 washings at least they still look good
These are pretty sheets. But, they haven't softened significantly after 9 or 10 times through the washer and dryer. They sort of "rustle" when I move around in my sleep and I'm disappointed they haven't gotten any softer with laundering. I have tried several methods including fabric softener (not a good idea due to the chemicals involved) and also tried vinegar. Nothing has helped. ... show more
