I'm glad I purchased this seal, it is a great improvement over not ever having one before. As far as install goes, there are plenty of screws that come with it, in fact I ended up having some left over because I spaced them out 12" apart. I had to use some white trim nails in a few spots that were wavy but it came out very nice. There is an adhesive strip on the back, but it is completely useless due to the curling of the product after being rolled up. I did try to straighten it out some before install, but this proved to be impossible because you don't want to cut the roll with out finishing a section. Purchased white color in May 2024, it is now mid July 2024 and we've had consecutive days in excess of 105 degrees (40.5 C). Ridged, self sticking side has turned an unpleasant tan color. Self sticking function is a joke, even if heated, as shown in photo, takes twice a many screws to get it to lay flat and seal correctly. Flexible edge is nice and soft and has not discolored, as yet. ... show more

    • Performs exactly how I needed it to. Worth the price 100%.

This stuff is heavy duty and durable. It's also heavy. It arrives coiled up, and nothing that you do will flatten it out. I attempted to flatten it by clamping to an 8 foot workbench for 7 days, and the pieces just rolled right back up. While you are installing, it will inevitably uncoil and punch you in the lip at least once. To cut the hard rubber half, score it with a razor knife and break it off with a wrench. Install is a hassle, but only because the seal is heavy and heavy duty. The adhesive is mostly useless. The screws are made of a very soft alloy and will instantly strip if you're impatient. To save your sanity and prevent stripping the screws, drill pilot holes with a 3/32" bit. Total install look me about 90 minutes, I cared more about doing it right than doing it quickly. ... show more

Disappointed: -product will not lay flat despite attempting several strategies. -screws are poor quality and strip easily -screw head covers are light weight and break with the slightest impact -there are many options-avoid this one
