This desk is perfect, definitely worth the price. Good quality wood. Everything arrived in perfect conditions and clean! The only reason why I give it a 4 stars is because the instructions are horrible! And the video here is just as bad!!! The desk it self is not hard to put together if it had better instructions, it will take you longer just because you basically have to figure it out yourself based on the “instructions” that comes with the desk other than that just go with your common sense. This is our kindergarteners first desk! I wanted to get her something other than just toys for Christmas…. Something special, meaningful and useful! It will grow with her throughout her school years and that makes us so happy. It’s bright, cheery and pretty, it’s smooth, aesthetic and modern. It’s sweet! Just like my little girl. She was SO EXCITED! I couldn’t believe it… I had hoped she would be but the level of enthusiasm sealed the deal. This desk was expensive, and we are not rich people, but my child deserves every learning advantage and this Mommy is going to give it to her! My children love their new desks! The sets have made them want to do (summer) homework, read and be more creative by themselves. I purchased two pink and one blue set that came with a desk, chair, and a lamp. After easily assembling, I found the desks were extremely sturdy and the chairs were comfortable. I also liked that the wood is laminated, so no future water damage, especially on the tabletop. The desk and chair both adjusted to the different heights, so they can grow along with my three children. The kids were amazed with the desk’s bookshelves, iPad/book holder, days of the week on the back metal panel along with magnets, the tilt tabletop, the sliding pencil drawer, hooks for their back packs on the side, and the side shelf happy face cover. As for the chair they loved the comfort and the armrests that can swing down, so they can easily slide in or out if needed. ... show more
