Wow. That's what I have to say about this hair straightener. I've used a lot of hair straighteners over the years and this one blows all of them out of the water. I didn't even know straighteners could have a negative ion feature. It is extremely well-made and looks modern and sleek. The pink/purple top part I didn't even know was an LED display until I turned it on! The edges of the straightener are curved so I can do a wave with it and I have had no issues with my extremely fine hair getting caught on the iron anywhere, which is a thing that happens often on a lot of straighteners for some reason. The cord is nice and long with a swivel at the base. It also has a lock at the end for storage and travel, which I love. This is hands down the nicest hair straightener I've ever had the pleasure to use and I'm so happy with it! It truly is a one-pass iron and I'm obsessed with the ion feature. This flat iron works wonders for my long thick hair. The rounded edges are perfect for not snagging the hair when styling. The ions allow a smooth silky finish with no frizz.     • Works As Advertised; Negative Ion Activity Is Displayed
This curling iron is fairly simple to use - there's an on/off button, a button for increasing the temperature, and a button for decreasing it. The LED display on the top of the iron notes the temperature. I like the way it feels in my hand - the weight and balance are comfortable. One nice feature is that it lets you turn the negative ions on and off by short-pressing the on/off button while the iron is powered up. The word "ion" appears on the LED display when the feature it on, and the manual says you can hear a slight noise when the negative ion feature is turned on. I don't think I've run across another hair product that advertises negative ions that has an indicator that this is active. It could just be a word and a slight buzz, but it's better than most other hair tools offer. I'm wary about damaging my long hair, so I wish that the negative ion feature were available without the heat activated. It would be nice to use this to make my hair smoother, shinier, and less frizzy without the risk. I wanted to see if the price is competitive, but since it's currently not available, the price is not displayed. A review from England says that the price is 30.00, and I presume that that's British Currency. If that's the case, I believe that would make it approximately $35.00 in US money. This hair straightener is really nice. Has a really good appearance and is easy to use. With the negative ions in the unit it keeps my hair sleek and frizz free. I have ALOT of heat styling tools including several flat irons. This flat iron right now is my go to for daily use. A good flat iron is 100% dependent on how the plates fit together. If there is a gap you will never get a good result. Many on the market are flawed because the plates don't fit tightly together. Not with this flat iron. The plates fit perfectly together and you are able to get a nice result with just one pass. The iron heats up super fast. It has a digital display and it is in Fahrenheit (you gotta watch for that on amazon). It has the swivel cord so the cord doesn't get twisted and the velcro strap to store it away nicely. Overall I really like this flat iron. I like the color of the white and purple but most of all it works. I am able to get a shiny, straight style with one pass. The iron is comparable with what you will pay in the beauty stores as well. ... show more

I thought this flat iron performed exceptionally well. It glided through my hair easily and I really appreciated the ability to set the temperature lower, because my fine hair doesn't do well with high heat and I'm always afraid of damaging it. It was nice to have the sectioning clips included with this straightener. I found it easy to twist the hair over the iron and use it to curl and add volume as well. This flat iron is really nice. A definite upgrade from non titanium plates. My hair comes out so smooth and silky and it does not snag on the nicely rounded edges of the iron. I have fine hair and have to be very careful to not damage it with heat styling. Have an LED display on this iron is a really helpful feature. Ensuring the correct temperature really saves my hair from damage. I definitely recommend using a heat protection spray also if you have delicate hair - it makes a HUGE difference.
