Description

Fastfender is the original single handed fender hanger. It was developed in The Netherlands with a boating enthusiast in mind who is a stroke victim and only able to use one hand. The Fastfender has been repeatedly tested in harsh conditions and formulated to resist salt water and UV decay as well as continuing to perform in temperature ranges of 0° – 115° F. Fastfenders are made from a strong flexible PVC that is highly resistant to breaking. This gives it the strength to hold fenders in demanding situations and the ability to flex and release the rail to prevent damage to your boat should your fenders get hung up when departing. Only the Fastfender has all these attributes. The Fastfender comes in four different models. We produce models for a diameter of 25mm (1"), 32mm (1 1/4") and 40mm (1 1/2") railings. We also have one model especially designed for steel wiring on sailing yachts, which is the Fastfender Sail.

  • Good quality
Color: Black
This is the second set I’ve purchased. The first set started to deteriorate a little after 5 years, so I replaced them. Quick to install and remove. Seem to be durable.

  • Great Product- makes deploying and retrieving Fenders a simple task
Color: Black
I purchased these for my 2007 Regal 2565 Window Express Cruiser. Purchased the 25 series (this represents the mm size ). It is important to know your stainless steel rail size on my boat it's a nominal 1" rail (actual size about 7/8" O.D. ) 25mm is about 1" ( 25.4mm = 1 "), so they fit fine for my boat. Be sure to buy the correct size, too big and you will get a very sloppy loose fit, too small and you will have to shoe-horn the fastfender on .... I install mine, adjust to the correct height and be sure to snug the cleat, then make a coil loop lash on the extra line and toss it over the rail, across the fastfender and back over the rail on the other side, this way the the fastfender will not slide for long term deployment. I also tie a square knot in the end of the fender line, this way if the cleat releases the line the knot will keep the line from coming off the fastfender clamp. Overall, I like them, easy to slip over the rail, easy to adjust, easy to remove. You can also now have neophyte crew members perform this task with some certainty that your fender won't drop into the drink... ha ha I purchased two pairs for my 4 fenders. See you on the Lake !! ... show more

  • Works well but sometimes lines slip out
Color: Blue
Works well but sometimes the fender lines slip out of the teeth and the fenders will drop. Just need to tie a half hitch around the bottom to keep it from slipping out.

  • Very Useful
Color: White
These are exactly what I needed. I have a smaller boat with not many cleats, so these work great for hanging my fenders using handrails. That allows me to keep my cleats free for dock ropes. They go on and come off the rails quickly, but it takes some time to get used to putting them on properly so that the free end of the rope is lying over the top of (instead of beneath) the device so I can easily adjust the height of the fender as it hangs into the water. ... show more

  • Twist and shout!
Color: Blue
These are a great idea. They are so helpful when it comes to setting fenders. Make sure you get the diameter of the rail correct and place a knot in your fender tie at the end so you cannot lose it. They do not work well on cleats. You can however allow the Fastfender to slide all the way down to the fender and then just tie onto the cleat as usual. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because direction of twist is not conventional. You turn these left to engage them with the rail. My engineer brain notes it as "one-more-thing" that needs to be remembered as an exception. What happened to "righty tighty? " ... show more

Great value for the money, easy clip and unclip from the rail. Quickly and easily adjust bumper height without even tying a knot.
