I struggle to unplug from the network. Some people can wear their Apple Watch and carry their iPhones without checking the notifications, but it is difficult for me to not look… unless, I can’t because I am wearing an analog watch without a network connection. I ordered the Timever watch for these occasions when I am playing with my kids at the park. I am a fan of "plain" analog watches, just hash marks or numbers and hands...no extra gizmos or markings on the face so I was drawn to this one. I have a pretty nice "go to" dressy/classy watch so wanted something a little more casual or sporty and with the rubber watch band this seemed to fit the bill. Upon getting it though it seems like the design features make it look stuck in this weird in between zone of not fancy enough to be a classy watch but too blingy to be a casual/sports watch. From the pictures it's hard to see but there is a glittery/shiny application around the hash marks. Also hard to tell from the pics but the face of the watch is raised quite a bit from the band and has a "chunky" appearance to it that to me is off putting. For around $30 the price is reasonable but I just don't care for the look of it as it's neither here nor there as far as classy or sporty. ... show more
