While it's really convenient to not have to string garden twine or wire between poles, this garden netting is not as easy to use as it seems. It comes in a giant folded "sheet" that is really difficult to manipulate if you are doing this by yourself. You will need to measure the area you need to net, then spread out the netting and cut to size. Once that's done, it's pretty easy to install on the poles. My beans are climbing great on it. The other thing about this product that wasn't apparent to me until I held it in my hands: it's an environmental nightmare. Just a big sheet of semi-hard plastic netting that's going to eventually end up in the landfill or the ocean. I immediately felt really guilty about ordering this when I opened the package. I would encourage you to reuse this product as many times and in as many ways as possible to avoid discarding it. While I appreciate the relative ease of use, given the reality of the product I would not order this again and I should not have ordered it the first time. ... show more

This is an inexpensive and lightweight way to give your climbing plants or vegetables a place to hang. I just installed it today for our cucumbers, and it is hung from a wood deck. In this case I didn't need the zip ties, but depending on what you are attaching it to, there's plenty included. I hung mine from nails and tied the corners with the yellow string at each corner. This trellis is super easy to use - it comes in one piece with a bunch of zip ties. I actually but it in half as I didn’t need all of it, and used it to cover my three giant tomato plants, to keep them from growing out of control. I got this to use for my pole beans. Had and issue this year providing a stable platform for my beans and I think this will solve my problem. It is a heavy duty , wide gap style netting that should work out perfect for my climbing plants. This was so easy to install in our garden with a few poles. Now our plants can climb vertically allowing us to grow more beans, cucumbers, squash, and eggplant. It is definitely strong enough to support the weight of the plants.
